And the jury can decide that the standard or decide they were not actually sufficient or the normal in today's world. |
Really? Even after the screaming voice mail to his teen daughter? |
He was rehearsing the shot as directed. He wasn’t playing around. This is a waste of tax dollars. |
You think because Hollywood has some type of SOP that absolved Baldwin from checking the gun before firing. The DA is saying otherwise. She is saying a Hollywood SOP does not absolve in NM. |
I am not convinced that Hollywood SOPs take precedence here. |
Please explain how you think the union is responsible for this? Make that make sense. |
He shot a loaded gun and killed a woman. Whether or not it was criminal to not verify that the gun was unloaded will be up to a jury. |

What are New Mexico’s laws about what an an individuals responsibilities are around gun handling? Could the DA argue to Baldwin “ screw the Armorer, YOU pointed a working gun at a human being and pulled the trigger, you and only you are responsible according to state law”. In other words does the state laws allow the Armorer to fully take ownership of the legal responsibility for gun accidents? Like when I go skydiving for the first , I have to sign a waver to say that the company bears no responsibility for accidents. I can’t later blame the teacher for accidents. |
| dying for a nanny tell all someday |
my $$ is on one of the 7 (or more) that will write the tell all. Those poor kids. |
No waiver you sing can absolve a third party of liability for a criminal act |
Dave Halls has quite a history with reckless behavior on set. I'm wondering if the prosecution will argue that he should have never been hired, given his history. https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/24/entertainment/rust-shooting-assistant-director-halls-complaints/index.html |
