| Reminds me of the time a child near me was reported as being “kidnapped” at school pickup, and the “kidnapper” was said to be her own biological mother. |
His law degree is from Liberty University. It’s worthless. |
This actually happens frequently— non-custodial patents taking their kids when they’re not supposed to (& sometimes running). |
Not sure how this situation is reminiscent of that at all. Strangers have kidnapped this baby from her dead parents’ relatives, in defiance of the Pentagon, State and DOJ. |
yes. a strange man who got creepily fixated on an infant kidnapped her. |
Imagine calling a child being picked up by their biological mother an abduction. |
If Mom is a junkie or abuser, and a court has decided that it’s in the best interest of that child to be kept away from her, it would absolutely be an abduction. Just because someone whelped a child doesn’t mean they are inherently suited to motherhood. |
Imagine having a biological mother so terrible that a court barred her from picking you up. |
Good. The Masts are disgusting. |
There are frequently circumstances that you are unaware of. Maybe the bio mom gave up parental rights, maybe bio mom was abusive and was not granted custody, etc... that was a completely different scenario, so please go away now. |
| This whole thing continues to disgust me. I wonder what the people in the community they live in think about this. Are they also all crazy so-called "evangelists"? People like this make Christians look bad. |
. +1 Liberty University hahahahahaha worthless for sure |
It was a mix of religious evangelicalism, plus the fact that the family has a brood of sons and the wife seems desperate to be a “Girl Mom.” I would love to know their fertility history. The Masts mindset seems to be driven by traumatic desperation. |
| Why hasn’t the child been returned to her biological family? |
Because Mast got a BS court order from a judge with no jurisdiction in a tiny county in Virginia that says the girl is his now. It’s preposterous. |
