I agree with this. IMO Yale is the weakest of 1A though, I could see it sliding to 1B. Their endowment kind of prevents it in the foreseeable future though.

Having visited Dartmouth, If I were accepted between Dartmouth and Duke, I would choose Dartmouth. Similarly with Caltech, Penn or Columbia. Maybe also Stanford and MIT.
