Why do the English Royals look so old?

I'm sure he's scared out of his mind. He's almost King. Holy crap.

She's always looked 10+ years older because her makeup is hopelessly outdated even for someone of her age. It's like Estee Lauder counter in the late 80s bad. She kinda got away with it when she actually was young, but it was always crappy and aging. Ringing your eyes in black liner is harsh. She's look much, much, much better if she ditched the black liner undereye and garish blush.

Better than Meghan's raging smoky eyes and seventeen layers of mascara scratching her hat brim.

Here is Kate rocking the mourning look through the car window again.

I love Kate's makeup here. I'm going to try out this look.

I generally think kate is beautiful but she looks really cold and mean in this pic, like an ice maiden. Not a flattering pic of her at all.

I think she's exhausted and trying very hard to keep it together until she can relax.

She’s at a funeral. I think she looked gorgeous.

Agree. I can't find a single fault. She looks perfect.

This thread really emphasizes how much opinions about beauty are cultural. I think Kate looks old and cold in that picture. Nothing attractive about her at all. Don't know if it's the thin lips or what. But she is completely unattractive to me.

You can see the spots and freckling on her chest from overtanning.

Agree. I can't find a single fault. She looks perfect.

She doesn't look approachable in that picture, I agree, but she looks beautiful. It's a funeral, so I don't expect to see her looking warm.

It is a candid photo through a car window. I wonder how warm and flattering a photo of you would look taken by a paparazzi while you are driving

It may be candid but she really does get that "posing through a car window" thing.

The veil is really to her benefit here. I think she's a lovely person generally but the veil really softens her face and makes her look younger. This looks like a painting.

Agree with PP that she really knows how to pose for these shots through the car window. This photograph definitely looks intentionally staged to display the Queen's jewelry she is wearing, like this was the photo they knew would be used by the press to discuss what pieces she was wearing and why. It's also absolutely a photo that will be included in retrospectives of Princess Catherine (and Queen Catherine) later in her life. Iconic.

Anonymous wrote:Let me preface this by saying I think Queen Elizabeth looked good for her age, but Camilla and Princess Anne look very old. King Charles also. I remember looking at Kate a few years ago and thinking she had too many wrinkles for her age. I thought given their rainy climate and the fact that they always wear hats would shield them from aging as fast. They also have money which they obviously aren’t using for skincare. I have been to Europe but not the UK. Do the people of the UK typically age fast? I am in my 70s and my relatives in their 90s look younger than Camilla, Princess Anne, and King Charles.

King Charles and Camilla are in their 70's. They look their ages. I have no idea what Princess Anne looks like.

She looks like a horse, just as she always has.

Here is a picture where I think she looks good

I thik Camilla looks perfectly fine, even nice.

Yeah? And what have you been smoking?

I don't get it. She looks like any other older woman. As PP said, perfectly fine, even nice.

She looks well-pulled together for her age. I aint mad at it.

I totally agree, I think Camilla and Jill B. both have a nice look. Attractive women aging naturally, still healthy and putting in effort.
