I am so happy to hear this! |
Not a shred of data to support the claim that FCPS has valid income data outside of the FARMS question. Nothing. Nada. You may think you won an anonymous internet debate by deflecting the question but remember all this is still up for the court’s review. The entire claim that the new process admitted more socio-economically diverse students is bogus. 💄 on a 🐷 |
I didn’t make that claim. Ask that PP. You shouldn’t have lied on the application. |
Sorry to disappoint you. I have no pony in this race. I would welcome comprehensive scrutiny of the entire process and the claim that somehow the new process admitted a significantly more socio-economic class. It did not because there is no data to support that. Now seems like you are unable to answer the question to support your claim that FCPS has income information beyond the response to the poorly worded FARMS question. Worry less about me lying and answer the question (you probably also claim that Trump won the election - because repeating a lie in the absence of supporting data makes it the truth). |
Sorry your reading comprehension sucks. I didn’t make the claim. |
+1 |
THey helped stop teaching kids about CRT! Ooops they never taught them about that. I think they mainly advocate for sugar coating history if that helps? |
it's C4TJ fiction |
Can I brush aside your opinion because you randomly capitalize words that shouldn’t be capitalized? |
Of course, the former are right about the charter of a Governor's School, and the latter are misguided. https://www.doe.virginia.gov/instruction/governors_school_programs/ |
DP, but at least for me, it's a different concern. Our child answered no to both questions and we fear that they were at a disadvantage by failing to earn experience points which many well-off families earned by answering yes. We have not been given any assurances that the TJ admissions office has done any verification of FARMS status, and it is thus reasonable to believe that they may have awarded experience points to anyone who answered yes without any verification. |
Anyone try asking the board whether they verify they meal answers? |
The reason I think this kid will struggle isn't the dyslexia. It's the B in 1st semester 8th grade Algebra. Kids who couldn't qualify for 7th grade Algebra and then couldn't get an A when taking it in 8th are likely to get eaten alive by the TJ math department. |
| In my mind, the cut off on math should be Geometry HN. If the student is not taking Geometry HN in 8th grade, it’s almost sure this student is entering TJ to serve the bottom part. . |
You know you sound like the boy in the cry wolf story? Once in a while you may be right but nobody believes you. Anything you don’t agree with C4TJ fiction or conspiracy. Come up with a rebuttal or stay out of conversations you don’t quite grasp. |
