TJ admissions results out?

| Has anyone heard back from TJ regarding the results? Saw somewhere that the results were out last Friday 05/06/2022. |

It was delayed because of the law suits. It is normally out before now. |

We have a pending application @ TJ, but have also decided against going, regardless of the decision. |

Not the original poster, but TJ was our backup school. We would be disconnected for events at TJ because of how far it is, and I think for our kid he prefers being at base high school with his friends, while only going every other day for advanced classes at AOS. |

Really wish FCPS would change TJ to the AOS model. It makes so much more sense and would serve more kids. |

It was DD’s decision. Our local HS is excellent, she decided she wants to be around friends she has, and her focus is now more on medical school and less on engineering (and she does not feel TJ is necessary for her career path). |

+1. This is my DD. She is interested in medical school and we have an excellent base school a mile from our home. |

That's great! There are so few spots and so many kids who would really benefit. It's best when those who don't really value STEM education stay at their home school. |
