Love is Blind - Season 2

The entire cast's disdain for Shake speaks volumes. Even the hosts can't stand him. To be disliked by everyone says everything we need to know about Shake. He could have been kind but he chose to be a d!ck instead.

I don't know who Shaina thinks she's fooling. For all of her talk about "owning it" she should have been honest and admitted Kyle was absolutely her second choice and her final pod please to Shayne was in hopes of changing his mind.

I love Deepti and hope she finds an amazing guy. I wish she had picked a different dress.

Iyanna looked gorgeous. So did Mallory (except for that stupid necklace).

I'm somewhat surprised Nick and Danielle haven't killed each other yet.

I give Shayne credit for taking responsibility for the things he did/said. It seems like he genuinely wants to use this experience to learn and grow.

Natalie looked beautiful too!

Agree with every word! Natalie seemed so sad.

I can’t imagine either of the two marriages lasting but the couples were sweeter and better integrated than I expected.

Natalie is a class act, the wisest of the bunch. I hope she meets someone wonderful. Deepti too, of course. I also hope Jarette is good to Iyanna. Her hard life made me worried for her, and she was so quick to marry someone with a lot of red flags. They seem happy, so fingers crossed!

I agree with Nick L that it was hard to understand the dynamic between Mall and Sal, and clearly a lot must have happened off camera. It seemed clear she liked him but was less into him than the reverse. But there must have been a number of negative interactions we didn’t see given his remarks about not feeling heard by her. Sad since she said she finally wanted a guy who’s treat her like a queen, which he seemed very willing to.

After watching the reunion, I’m pretty convinced that Shayne must have adhd/tics. He can’t sit still like an overgrown toddler (the suit leggings and continued lack of socks don’t help). Also his hair was annoying.

Was anyone else kind of skeeved out by Iyana's "parents?"

I can't remember the specifics but didn't she say that they adopted her pretty recently, like around age 22? I find it weird that they focus so much on using the term parents. And her dad was talking about children growing up. I mean I know they were her godparents but it all seemed just really a bit much. Like their need to constantly use language about being her parents.

I helped a former friend who is a single mom raise her daughter. I'm not even her godparent, but her godparent lives a plane ride away. I went to back to school nights, bought school supplies, helped with homework, packed lunches, took/picked up from school, went to parent/teacher conferences, bought clothes, helped her clean her bedroom, dropped off/picked up at friend's houses and birthday parties, paid for and organized birthday parties, sent her to camp, taught her to do laundry, cook, gave her allowance, went to doctor's appointments, paid for braces, take her to dentist and ortho, etc. So no, I'm not the parent OR godparent, but her mom is raging alcoholic narcissist and she's needed help. She's 19 now and I still pay for her dental appointments and take her grocery shopping.

You are a blessing to that child, don't let PP tell you otherwise.

Weird flex but ok.

With regards to the reunion Iyanna looked so different!

I also cannot believe how much Mal did not take responsibility for her hurtful and inappropriate conversation.

She does not seem like a very nice person, frankly.

I prefer her pixie cut, but she's adorable either way.

Bad reunion style choices for me were:

Shane with the bad hair and the no socks
Kyle with the nose ring. His face is weird enough.
Shaina squinting so hard as to look like she forgot her glasses, and her overly botoxed lips.
Nick with his pocket square and his Bert from Sesame Street haircut.

Agree with everything said.

I wish they had dug more into Nick and Danielle's issues and viewers' reactions to them. It seemed like they tried to gloss over everything and give the impression that the conflicts were overblown plus the miracles of therapy.

The most we heard from the hosts all season!

Agree.

It was funny when Shake implied Shaina said yes to stay on the show and everyone else disagreed loudly. Like, of course that’s true. But seems like he’s enough of a jerk that they all just disagree with him on everything. Nice to see them rally around Deepti and I’m glad they told her he was talking about her behind his back.

Looks as though Shayne and Natalie still love each other. Are they still together?
