Oh probably, but he’s not going to resign because of them. The country got to decide if they liked him or not in September last year, and it seems most people liked what he was doing for the pandemic then.

Also, most of the mandates they’re claiming to be fighting are decisions made at the provincial level. The vaccination for truckers mandate is moot as the US requires them to be vaccinated anyway, although this seems to be some big issue. Making, gathering limits, business closures, school closures, etc. are made at provincial and local levels. Vaccination “passports” are provincial programs.

So yeah, they may want him to resign, but it’s pretty weak if it’s over anything they’re claiming it to be over. They’re anti-liberal, but the hilarious part is that most of the mandates have actually been set out by the Conservative provincial governments.

These protesters are so disgusting, they defiled the statue of a national hero, Terry Fox, who as an immunocompromised cancer patient absolutely would have supported vaccine and mask mandates and would be horrified by these shameful louts. Horrible people.

You do realize he got less than 1/3rd of the vote and another guy got more votes right? Two thirds of the country did not like it. Oddly enough, the truckers seem to command support from about two-thirds of the country.
