How should I feel about the fact that my next door neighbors put a Youngkin board on their lawn?

Youngkin is running against McAuliffe, while McAuliffe seems to be running against a combination of Trump and his own past.

It's not like January 6, 2021, is the long-ago past. It's not even last year. It's still this year. Just 10 months ago. Maybe you've forgotten already, but I haven't.

Here's a visual since you aren't good with #s. Oh wait - you probably have a tough time with charts too...

Stop gaslighting.

I can knock on every door on my block, and nobody is gonna say they didn't vote for either Biden or Trump.

Stop bringing up "eligible voter" crap, ok? It's nonsense. Less than 50% of voting age people in Fairfax County voted for Biden. That means nothing.

If I check my street, knock on doors and poll, I'm not going to find that less than 50% of my neighbors support or voted for Biden. Stop it. This is a false narrative. It's simply false. This huge swath of anti Biden folks in Fairfax County doesn't exist.

Sorry, you think math is “gaslighting”.

Ok. If you want to talk about ALL Americans, and not just eligible voters, then the % of Rs will drop even more.

50% of Americans are not Republicans.

Stop.

I haven't forgotten it; I just don't use it as a sledgehammer to avoid addressing the flaws of a political hack like McAuliffe.

More that I don’t let you define the terms on which two candidates should be evaluated.

I consider Youngkin’s business experience more impressive than McAuliffe’s past as a political hack who monetized his connections with the Clintons and exudes anything but integrity.

Youngkin made millions by putting people out of work. That’s how you want our state to run?

Voting for someone (or multiple people) from a given party does not make them a member or supporter. Automatic, straight ticket voters are scary and will hopefully become rare one day.

Of course you are free to decide for yourself what's important and what isn't, and evidently you have decided that Youngkin's support for the insurrection/coup president is not important.

I like youngkin. I think he’ll make a better governor.

Not only that, he inserted himself into a race that Jennifer McClellan was otherwise poised to win and snatched it away with the money he made cashing in on his connections with the Clintons.

She is backing him now, of course, but the lack of enthusiasm for another McAuliffe term is palpable.

+100

McClellan would have made a fine Governor. Here’s hoping she runs and wins in the future

There was no coup, moron.

Failed coup?

Let’s call it an insurrection. And you don’t think it’s important?
