How should I feel about the fact that my next door neighbors put a Youngkin board on their lawn?

We are POC. Would never mention it to them, but should we be more careful in our interactions going forward?

Ah yes definitely keep your distance. Wouldn’t want to become one of the lizard people like them. It’s catching.

Widen your horizons and social circles for goodness sake.

They've told you what sort of people they are. If that's not the type of person you can respect or want to socialize with, minimize that. Unfortunately, with neighbors you don't really have the option of cutting them off.

I'm 100% sure my neighbor voted for Trump and will vote for Youngkin. We're cordial because we need to be, but we're not going to be good friends. Thankfully they don't put up signs and neither do we.

I've been wondering why McAuliffe barely has any signs up - I feel like they didn't go as hard and it shows in my neighborhood where every few houses has Youngkin. Therefore, I'm wondering about lots of my neighbors.

I would avoid.

At best, they have poor judgment.

At worst…

They are probably won't even mention politics. Our neighborhood is politically diverse, and we all get along as neighbors. It's good to be on good terms with an immediate neighbor. You never know what may come.

Neighbors two houses down the street also has one up. When I saw it, I just said, “Hmmm.” Made a note of it in my mind and went on with my life😉

Are you a fascist? People can’t support different politicians and be a part of the same community? This is nuts.

Your neighbor is a moron. It's always hard finding that out, but it's good to know. They probably don't change the batteries in their smoke detectors (because their smoke detectors are spying on them and sending data to Elon Musk).

Ignore the sign and clear any brush between your houses.

So what? I’m AA and plan to vote for Youngkin. I don’t want my 3 year old to wear a mask to school forever, which I’m sure would happen with a democrat as Governor.

My sweet neighbor has one of those signs too. Maybe I need to show them this thread.

Clearly. It’s the democrat way; be in lockstep or be considered evil. There is no gray with this group.

It’s because the DNC’s belief on signs is “yard signs don’t vote.” No dem particularly prioritizes distributing signs. IMO it’s very stupid. Signs remind people to vote, make them feel like they’re part of a movement supporting a specific candidate, etc.

My smoke detectors actually ARE spying on me but you don’t have to change the battery and it sends the info to Google. They track every time I walk into each room.
