We will see. Youngkin has zero record and hasn’t been forthcoming so we really don’t know what he will do.

I will be hopeful, like I was in 2016, that things will turn out better than I expect. Of course, things turned out to be much, MUCH worse than I could have expected in 2017-21 but I’ll stick with hopeful for now.

The odds are 99% the PP is a Maryland poster who lives on DCUM to trash Virginia. If Virginia had another D governor, he'd been spouting off about the Confederacy. Now that it has an R for governor-elect, it's going to be about the governor.

You can't find either way with these people, and there's no point trying. Virginia has been doing well with a mix of R and D governors over the years, whereas jurisdictions in Maryland dominated by Ds like Montgomery County have declined.
