She is absolutely right, and this guy is a fool.

No, she isn't, and no, he isn't.

If that's the best response you can muster, don't bother. You're just embarrassing yourself.

Oh, ok, because "She is absolutely right, and this guy is a fool" is such a profound masterpiece. Did you spend a lot of time crafting that response?

More like gave England a bit of saved face. And I'd say 'stabbed' is a bit of a overreaction. France had signed that deal in 2016 and still hadn't produced suitable assets in 2021. On top of the fact that our technology was superior.

It would be like the Australia being offered a six-months late shipment of Dell computers from France and the U.S. said 'hey we've got enough Apple for you that we can send it tomorrow and it won't breakdown for 30+ years'.

Simply makes strategic sense - from a military perspective and a economic perspective. Although I'm sure we'll make up the insult to the French somehow.

And, like everything else the past 8 months, Biden handled it poorly.
I truly cannot think of one thing he has handled well.

Covid. As a resident of a non-red state I approve.

From a FP perspective though watching Biden move is amusing. He's not dumb like Trump. To put it crudely, he's skipping the foreplay and going straight for the action.

People forget - Biden was Chair/Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations committee since 1997. So he's seen it all. Met with thousands of dignitaries. Known every U.K. Prime Minister since Edward Heath in 1972 (Thatcher didn't even show up until 1979) and every French President since Pompidou.

He knows where he can push and where he can slide. He also knows that if you want to accomplish something via normal diplomatic channels *you send Ambassador A to meet with Minister B then Undersecretary A places a call to B then a year later you actually have face to face meetings between the heads of state who agree to C but Country D objects and wants to be brought in with E*. It's whatever. It would take years.

In 8 months by brushing aside the foreplay if you will, ordering his foreign team to set out the contracts, and move on - we've gotten out of Afghanistan and signed a multilateral deal with Australia.

This is just stuff Biden wants to get off his desk before he gets to meatier plans of substance. I have to wonder what he has up his sleeve next.

That doesn’t mean he remembers any of it. He is deteriorating and sadly, the WH is nothing more but a daycare for seniors at this point.

McConnell is a year older than Biden. Maybe he's deteriorating as well and sadly, the GOP Senate is nothing more than a daycare for seniors at this point?

If that's the case -- why did all of the 2021 GOP signal complete support in McConnell's continued leadership as a 79-year-old? Even in the face of Trump's ire?

McConnell is fine and sharp as a tack. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Joe.
Even Bernie Sanders who is 2 years older than Biden could run circles around him.

Aww just admit you don’t like Biden because he won’t appease Republican sentiments. The GOP has no idea how good they had it under Obama. He spent far too much time as the GOP punching bag fighting off ludicrous conspiracy theories like that Birther nonsense. Biden doesn’t even acknowledge your crackpot theories exist.

Biden doesn't acknowledge much of anything...... Short term memory loss is a thing for him.

Keep trying, sporto.

Hey, “lifelong Democrat” OP. This is where your “I’m just asking questions do we have to march in lockstep?!?” post ended up. Republicans trashing Biden with absolute nonsense for which they have zero evidence. It’s exactly what you wanted.

DP. Are you the poster who shows up in every thread to blindly defend Biden against even legitimate criticism? Because you just sound ridiculous and are outing yourself as the hyper-partisan you obviously are. Also - "zero evidence"? What rock have you been living under?

And finally - "sporto"?? OMG.

You have no evidence. None at all.

On the other hand, we have evidence that Trump couldn’t navigate stairs or ramps. And “person woman man camera tv.” And he admitted that the test got “really hard” at the end. It doesn’t get “really hard” unless you… have dementia. And who had a demonstrated decline in linguistic ability. https://www.statnews.com/2017/05/23/donald-trump-speaking-style-interviews/ Whose colleagues thought he had dementia. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/feb/16/trump-dementia-claims-steve-bannon-25th-amendment And on and on and on.

And thanks for admitting you goobers are just slamming this board with threads to attack Biden. You have literally nothing else to do in your lives.

Succinct and correct. She’s a part of the “both sides” media mafia, a conservative happy to slam Democrats for that which they wouldn’t even note in Republicans. The replies were rich on her tweet; no one who pays attention and isn’t brainwashed is buying what the both siders are selling anymore. Of course the deranged right wingers on here don’t understand that because they’re brainwashed.

Pssst: not sure if you're aware, but this thread is about Biden - not Trump. I'm sorry you've got the sadz that people are seeing for themselves how utterly out of it and incompetent Biden is. It'll be a tough four years for you because this is just the beginning. Might want to settle in and get used to it.

Good. This is what we need. Let's hope he can rally the troops.

Unbelievable! WTF is he talking about?

Well, then maybe Trump sholudn't have shut down the State Department office that processes SIVs, relase 5000 Taliban militants, announce a pullout while drawing down US troops.

Maybe Biden should have had a better plan with a timeline that allowed for evacuation.

This is on him.

+100
The PP is going to continue repeating her talking points on every.single.thread, without ever acknowledging that Biden COULD have changed the terms of the withdrawal. He chose not to. The end result is his fault.
