| Clemson doesn’t do rolling or EA so no way did your DC get accepted yet. |
| Does Penn State generally give merit aid? My DD just got accepted and I was wondering if there was any chance. Her stats are 3.9 UW, 4.7 weighted and a 31 ACT. |
| Anyone hear about merit aid to Temple? My DS just got in with pretty decent stats (in their top 25%) and his acceptance didn't mention it. Does it come later, or did he just not qualify? |
They seem to have a merit scholarship of about 6k per year that everyone is eligible for. Hoping to get that. |
It really is a nice campus. South Carolina is very popular in DMV and it has some great programs but I am surprised Alabama isn’t more popular since the campus is nicer (IMO) |
They inform high stats students early |
They do them in waves, starting in November or so. That said, it is normally to high stats people... those stats are pretty average. My DD was accepted in early January with a 4.44 and a 30 ACT with a merit scholarship. |
Temple used to send merit aid info right along with admissions info, but this year they seem to have separated them - merit coming later after admissions are sent. |
Thank you! My DD didn’t apply yet thinking they don’t do rolling. It is her first choice. Her stats aren’t as good as your DC’s. She is 3.4 test optional from a Big 3. Minority. Really hoping she gets in. Got acceptance from Alabama and PSU so far. |
‘Cause Alabamy |
| Roll Tide. 😈 |
| Anyone hear from Ole Miss? |
People that applied early/mid October have been getting acceptances this week |
I’m the PP who’s DD’s first choice is Clemson. She would have done ED if they offered it. Are all the acceptances so far very high stats? Is 3.3 even in the running? |
If it’s an unweighted 3.3 she probably has a chance |
