No. My kid received a merit scholarship and has not yet applied for Pitt Honors. Does anyone know if additional scholarships are available if also admitted to the Honors College?

My kid has strong stats and got accepted within 10 days, but hasn't heard about scholarship yet, it has been a month.

It's been about 3.5 weeks since DC applied, and all materials are in place, they can access the portal, etc. But no decision yet. DC has pretty strong stats (3.9UW, 4.7 W, 33 ACT) so we had hoped for an acceptance.

It was about 4 weeks for my School of Computing applicant with lower stats (4.0 WGPA, 1450 SAT). No merit, applied at end of August and heard on Sept 24.

I'm a college counselor, and have multiple students applying to Pitt. They are taking longer this year than in past years.

PP here who's waiting on Pitt-- thanks to the two previous posters for the insights.

This Pitt wait is making our family stressed - our DC is a bit more marginal - 3.7 WGPA, 1340 SAT.

Are you my husband? My kid applied to Pitt with the exact same stats.

Pitt acceptances definitely seemed to have slowed down for the later applicants.

Me again. They’re in! And with the guaranteed admission to Pitt’s law program.

High stats and into Pitt. Took over 4 weeks. Also applying for computer science. Seems that school is a little slower this year.

Thanks - it felt really good to have one in her pocket. Huge sigh of relief.

We toured Alabama and absolutely fell in love with it … it’s such a beautiful and vibrant campus!
