PVI dominated the game at both ends and shut down the two GC middie stars pretty well.pVI was faster and more aggressive and won most faceoffs somehow.

4. Landon - dominated St Stephen’s. grudge match with rival GP on Tuesday.

Looks about right to me. PVI looked impressive last night and its seniors are on a mission!

Everyone keeps talking about Good counsel’s program falling off a cliff next spring due to the 2026 class graduating however their JV program is undefeated in WCAC league play and beat Landon’s JV squad too.

The future is bright in Olney which is a good thing for the WCAC!

GC will have a tough time replicating this year’s success. The star seniors leaving at the end of this season have been playing their whole time at the school as starters on varsity, not ever on JV. This year’s JV team was filled with pay to play boys still on JV as sophomores. Not sure that’s what they signed up for but maybe 🤷‍♂️

Coach Dane is a good recruiter. They opened up the spigots at Good Counsel for him.

Good Counsel JV is the best in the WCAC . I’m sure it irks the SJC and purple people but you can’t deny Dane is building a program in Olney.

GC JV was the best in the WCAC this year by a significant margin.
Their goalie may have been the best player on the field for either team.
I am indifferent to what JV dominance means for the future of their program.

Good Counsel already has an excellent varsity goalie (a sophomore). Last time they had two very good ones, the other left for another school where he developed and shined. Dane is a very persuasive recruiter and is willing to find money for his players but not sure about the other coaching attributes.
