But I am so angry about the school closures last year and shit like this: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/the-richmond-public-schools-division-is-doing-terry-mcauliffe-no-favors-in-virginia/

I wish Rs didn't fall into the fake controversy over CRT and I support transstudents rights. But VA public schools are messed up and the mask mandate needs to be lifted on kids. The CDC has jumped the shark with the latest statements about masking even after kids are vaccinated. Rates are low and vaccines are imminent, governors need to start announcing off-ramp plans now. I have zero confidence in McAuliffe on these issues.

Voting for Youngkin is horrific.

Texas today no one has a vote anymore. This will be Virginia. Youngkin will do exactly what Abbott just did. He put a Sec of State in that is a Trump supporter of the Big Lie they will not change every election without anyone being able to do anything. Abbott will never leave office. Women in Texas are toast.

Is that what you want for Virginia's children to grow up in a place where Democracy died, where their votes no longer count.

This is not about schools it is about Democracy and you all better wake up because Youngkin will take Virginia back to the dark ages in a jif and there will be no stopping the GOP and their criminal activity.

Yesterday Trump started a social media company with a communist company based out of Wuhan China. The GOP ie Youngkin is the communists and again it's only going to get way worse.

Spare us the whole school issues, Youngkin is going to ruin them his ideas for privatizing schools just means bad schools and money flowing to his pocket.

Come on people see the big picture. Please pay attention you are missing it and when this race is over either China wins or the US? Which are you for?

You keep posting and driving people in the other direction. You just cant help yourself can you? No one is buying what you are selling. Let the people vote for the person they think is right for Virginia. Accept it and move on. I get it you are voting for McAuliffe even though he has very questionable business practices and friends. You do you. Who cares about Trump. He is not on the ticket no matter how much you want him to be. I also hope he does not run in 2024 but this level of division you continue to preach scares me that you are setting the stage for a redo.

How exactly would PP’s posts “drive anyone in the other direction”?

Who would change their vote based on anonymous comments on a mommy website? You?

And Trump’s agenda is absolutely on this ticket.

You’re being vague. How is Younkin’s agenda the same as Trump’s?

There are plenty in Western Loudoun. West of Leesburg might as well be Southern VA. It's not even out of the question to drive some of those back roads and find a confederate flag or two.

And then both parties of whacky fringe players that are more interested in scoring re-tweets on fringe issues than making a difference.

Isn't that just politics, though?

Two super rich dudes fighting it out and we pick the less evil of the two?

I know some in my Arlington neighborhood. They’re the ones who threaten to call ICE when a yard crew parks a truck in front of their house, so yeah.

Trump and Chase seem to think so.

“I hope Glenn gets in there and he’ll straighten out Virginia, he’ll lower taxes, do all of the things we want a governor to do.”
-Trump

“We are going to do something about election integrity. I know what’s going on. The Youngkin campaign knows what’s going on. We are watching like we never watched before."
-Chase

So does Youngkin:
Youngkin will make election integrity a top priority.

Amanda Chase says electing Glenn Youngkin is "THE best strategy towards bringing election integrity to Virginia" and that there's work behind the scenes to do "full forensic audits" here. so, there's that.

Virginians are you ready to pay millions for an election audit of the 2020 election and 2021 and all elections moving forward for no reason?

Millions of $ Youngkin wants you to spend. Do you know how much your taxes will increase for this garbage?

Amanda Chase is a traitor and liar and criminal. They are going to effectively make sure your vote never counts again. GOP Party of treason.

The nutty thing is that VA **already does** election audits.

https://www.politico.com/amp/news/2021/10/05/youngkin-virginia-governor-election-audit-machines-515166

“Virginia’s state elections department has already conducted a post-election audit, running a statewide “risk-limiting audit” for the first time after the last election. The process tests the accuracy of voting machines and has been increasingly embraced by election security professionals as a safety measure to guarantee accurate vote counts. The Virginia audit confirmed the 2020 results in the state.“
