12-7? Final. Don’t sleep on McLean. |
Don’t sleep on Mclean |
I’ve been saying all season that McLean is good. They don’t have the most talent but they are fast, aggressive, and athletic |
How did McLean manage to score 12 against Yorktown?? |
Shame on you. I don’t know who you are but you have crossed the line. |
Yorktown has had the most college level talent and with the exception of their undefeated state championship year they have under achieved. Each loss in either the state semis, state quarters or regionals have been to a team they have beaten in the season or playoffs. The coaches have to do better with this talent. |
Isn’t it a known fact it’s hard to beat a team 3 times though? And also that’s just a blatant lie Madison has had the most talent along with Robinson |
Langley parent here. Hats off to Madison. They dominated us in every aspect of the game last night. Poor execution on our part but they look really strong. Would not be surprised to see a Madison Robinson state final. Those two teams are a cut above the others we saw this season. |
mclean got lucky, they will be worse next season |
McLean was really impressive last night. Played hard, aggressive and loose and didn't seem intimidated at all. Their d-poles really locked down YT's strong attack guys and their middies were aggressive in between the boxes causing turnovers and getting ground balls. They won't be an easy out for Madison on Friday by any means. |
Region A - 5/23
Deep Run @ Cosby Region B 5/22 Colonial Forge @ Battlefield Patriot @ Freedom Region C - 5/21 Woodson @ Robinson West Potomac @ Hayfield Region D - 5/24 McLean @ Madison |
Mclean next year will be interesting. Their Goalie and the pole that shut down 7 graduate but their 2 middies come back. Yorktown just didn't look as athletic and with the Goalie hurt just couldn't compete. |
But I thought that Yorktown had this superman freshman attack that was going to win POY. What did he do to off set the Mclean D? |
