Monique should consider herself blessed that Candiace didn't file charges. And zero remorse. When someone shows you their true self, don't doubt it or explain it away, trust it.

Giselle: her ex-husband is so slimy. She can do better. Are they still together?

Karen: I feel bad for her. Ray is jerking her around. He's not going to leave her, but he wants to extract his pound of flesh because she's not doting on him. I used to think he was a good guy, but now you can see he's a jerk.

Ashley: her relationship with Michael is an enigma. It's a business deal.

I thought Candiace DID file charges, but according to the case search, Monique filed charges against Candiace???! Unless it was a different incident.

They both filed charges.

NP. I have never watched this show in my life, don’t really follow these threads, nor the characters. But this chatter about the fight and WHUR’s distaste from one of the announcers made me curious. Is this the fight you are talking about? How old are these women?

I couldn’t believe that Monique was then talking about the fight with her husband in front of her young daughter -way to model behavior!

Cadiace is 33, Monique is 36. Sharisse, aka the warthog, spread a rumor that baby Chase wasn't Chris' child. Candiace knew this and knew that Monique was pissed. Candiace invited Sharisse to her party, which blindsided Monique and caused the fight.

Good grief. That gave me a headache and I know it was the short version! But I’m guessing Chris is the older woman, Monique’s husband? Either way, they’re old enough to know better. And I would assume successful enough to not succumb to such a low production standard? I know this is the Guiding Light and As The World Turns soap of our time, but this is degrading. It does help to place her emotional reaction in context. It was severe and she was furious about an attack on her child and marriage. Not sure i would attempt to behead someone over it, but Alice in Wonderland was almost offed for a much more trivial offense. So, it sounds like they both have a defense, for different charges. Huh. Thanks! Now I’m at least a bit in the know.

I felt bad for Karen. Ray is just not into her and it was painful to see her reaction. But really - who would be??

I love Monique’s shorter hairstyle but the girl needs anger management therapy. Wow.

Ashley - leave that bald, rheumy-eyed old pervert. You can do so much better!

Gizelle matches her tacky ex-husband. I firmly believe we attract who we are. The laws of reaping & sowing apply.

Gizelle has her match because it’s a reflection of her poor character.
Karen is matches to Ray.
Robin is matches to Juan
Monique is matches to big Chris
Candiace to the other Chris
Ashley to Michael

They are all equally yolked, esp. Ashley who went along with Michael’s sexual proclivities because she grew up so impoverished and it probably was a requirement if she wanted to continue with Michael.

Who you date and marry is a mirrored reflection of yourself.

LOL the phrase you're looking for is "equally yoked," as in oxen. Not yolked like eggs.

Jesus. The PP's simple 4 line post was too much for your brain, but you meander in and out of an Alice in Wonderland reference?

Don't ever change, DCUM, bring the crazy.

So based on making up a paternity lie about her child/Chris and allowing that person to be around, I totally get grabbing her head and wanting to rip her hair out. Not saying I'd do it, but that was not something a friend does- tearing apart a family with gossip. I don't think Monique care's about Sharisse as she's a lost cause but for Candiace-a friend- to do that-I get the rage and lack of apology. Candiace is just messed up in the head and sets up situations like that where she can enjoy watching the discomfort of others. If she ever decides to become a mother, I hope karma happens so she gets it.

I’m so disappointed that Monique is still defending herself. She shouldn’t have gotten physical. Ridiculous

Ugh, I didn’t want to agree with Giselle. But #patternofbehavior. If you are reading this Monique, you have to humble yourself. You are wrong. Ask the Lord to show you your faults. Candace has a lot of mouth but you had no business touching her. Words are nothing. Save your fight for something more important.

At the end, Giselle left Karen’s house saying that she and her boyfriend (ex husband) could not be associated with Monique because he was a pastor with a reputation. I guess she forget about all of the out of wedlock kids he has (including some from when he was married to her)? Now she cares about character? Listen, I know that Monique was wrong, but sometimes you do snap. Have I ever? No, but Lord knows I’ve wanted to, especially in my 30s. Now at 51, it feels ridiculous. Gizelle’s father was even pissed with her dating Jamal again. Gurl please - you are the last person to talk about character.

I hope Monique is done for the season. Bravo needs to finally hold people accountable for their harassment. First they keep Michael on the payroll after molesting their cameraman and now Monique has assaulted another castmate. Enough is enough Bravo!

Monique deserves a raise. Candyass has needed someone to whoop her ass for over 30 years.

While Candiace is no saint and deserves to be put in her place, that should be done with words, not physicality. Monique is 90% responsible for this mess.

Haha I noticed that too! Reputation my foot- that man is a pastor with a handful of baby mamas, most of which out of wedlock and some while cheating on his wife? Not exactly the model citizen of moral behavior!

However, Monique’s refusal to say she regrets the fight was a real problem. She doesn’t seem to think she did anything wrong.
