Good grief. That gave me a headache and I know it was the short version! But I’m guessing Chris is the older woman, Monique’s husband? Either way, they’re old enough to know better. And I would assume successful enough to not succumb to such a low production standard? I know this is the Guiding Light and As The World Turns soap of our time, but this is degrading. It does help to place her emotional reaction in context. It was severe and she was furious about an attack on her child and marriage. Not sure i would attempt to behead someone over it, but Alice in Wonderland was almost offed for a much more trivial offense. So, it sounds like they both have a defense, for different charges. Huh. So based on making up a paternity lie about her child/Chris and allowing that person to be around, I totally get grabbing her head and wanting to rip her hair out. Not saying I'd do it, but that was not something a friend does- tearing apart a family with gossip. I don't think Monique care's about Sharisse as she's a lost cause but for Candiace-a friend- to do that-I get the rage and lack of apology. Candiace is just messed up in the head and sets up situations like that where she can enjoy watching the discomfort of others. If she ever decides to become a mother, I hope karma happens so she gets it.[/quote]
