Does anyone really give their kids apple juice?

Anonymous
If you do, you might as well give them candy. There is no nutritional value. Milk and water is all they need. And it can be soy or any other kind of milk. All this craziness over arsenic in apple juice. I have never given my kids the stuff. I don't give them soda either. Same thing. Nothing worse than parents that let their toddlers suck down sippy cup after sippy cup of apple juice. That is what causes bottle rot.

The Galevston apple juice I buy has iron, vitamin C, & fiber. Not sure what candy you buy that has those nutrients but I spend a little more and get a healthier juice. A glass a day isn't going to kill my kids, and I'm betting the milk you give your kids has the same amount of sugar as apple juice.... If we don't buy the Galveston apple juice we buy the Uncle Matt brand... (see below).

And really? Soy? We can argue how healthy that is for a child.

59 oz. organic Orchard-Style Apple Juice

Bold, beautiful and brown, our not-from-concentrate organic apple juice is
orchard-style, which means we’ve left all the good stuff in. Its dark brown color and swirls of apple pectin tell you it’s full of healthy antioxidants and essential dietary fiber.

Did you know it packs 4x the antioxidant punch over its clear counterpart? What’s more, our cold-pressed method preserves maximum flavor so you’ll think it was fresh-picked, pressed and poured right at the orchard stand.

With a premium blend of USA grown seasonal apples, including fuji, gala, golden, granny smith and red delicious, 6 oz. of our juice equals one serving of fruit and contains only apples grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Brought to you by a family as committed to uncompromised organic nutrition as you are.

We drink apple cider around the holidays. I expect CPS will be beating down my door any minute for this infraction.

This is not what causes bottle rot, milk sugars overnight on the teeth.

Stupid question that you already know the answer to.

Everything in moderation. My kids hardly drink apple juice but their friends want it when they come over because their moms won't let them have juice.
