I don't know, but I had this same experience with her post-Selena, pre J.Lo fame and it was a thing back then too so she's been like this a LONG time. |

My guess - wherever she goes, people stare, want to talk to her, want her attention. That must be exhausting. She can’t control the public from trying to interact with her, but she can control staff. It’s definitely rude, and it seems like she should be able to acknowledge people like human beings (like every other celebrity does) but I can see why she’d do this from the perspective of controlling how much energy she is forced to spend engaging with strangers. Given how disciplined she is with diet and exercise and her projects, it kind of makes sense, no? Like she’s valuing her safe space and energy above interacting with people like a normal person would. |

What was she imagining people were seeing or doing to her when they looked at her? Why was eye contact so unbearable? (Does she believe in "the evil eye?" That would not necessarily be unusual but her attempts to control people is). A "look" constituted the same thing as an action in her mind? Is she trying to control what she sees, what they see in her or both? Besides the entitlement involved in requiring other people to alter their behavior in such a way to make oneself comfortable, I think she could be paranoid. Paranoia can be misunderstood, people tend to think of the most obviously crazy people as "paranoid" but it's likely distributed on the normal curve like everything else. Also it is easy to rationalize it externally as part of he reality of celebrity, but even among the most self centered, she's always stood out, a true outlier. I have a pet theory that her father, a practicing scientologist, has a lot of bizarre ideas and I suspect she was heavily influenced by and identifies with him. She's not a scientologist, proper, but his influence was likely felt. His absence in her life narrative is also glaring. (She also has her trademark "glare" that she clings to and is supposed to look sexy but also conveys anger and defense). She references her father here and there but largely who he is remains hidden. |

It’s a New York thing probably. . If you’re on the subway staring others down, it is rude. If you’re a man on the street staring and catcalling, that’s also rude I think she thinks staring at her and not saying anything is rude . Her mistake is she makes the assumption these people would be staring at her. It’s kind of like that clip of her where she assumes the immigrant man who lives her in childhood home today would know who Jennifer Lopez is. He literally said Jennifer who?? She thinks too highly of herself and her impact on the world. |

He’s gained so much weight in the past few months . It’s obvious he has his own place now. Pizza and gin and tonic every night, Dunkin Donuts every morning? That’s the biggest tell they’re no longer together He didn’t look this sloppy wearing two sizes too small suit jackets when he was with Jennifer. She did make sure he looked the part of the leading man with their pap strolls. Now, it looks like he gained weight, is swollen. I think he got bad Botox as well or something because his face is expressionless |

J Lo also is in New York now. Supposedly she wants to get back with Alex and showing off her abs in that pap pic was a bat signal to him just like the Italy pics where . Apparently she and Arod always vacationed in Italy and were going to marry there.
I think these two are such a mess. I think Ben will find himself on the mend with the help of Jennifer Garner who he will return to. Jennifer will return to Alex. He likes fame and attention and Jennifer takes him to a new stratosphere as a retired baseball player |
