She can’t control the public from trying to interact with her, but she can control staff. It’s definitely rude, and it seems like she should be able to acknowledge people like human beings (like every other celebrity does) but I can see why she’d do this from the perspective of controlling how much energy she is forced to spend engaging with strangers. Given how disciplined she is with diet and exercise and her projects, it kind of makes sense, no? Like she’s valuing her safe space and energy above interacting with people like a normal person would. [/quote]
