If the relationship is consensual, I see no problem with it. I’ve always thought this whenever government work place relationships crop up, regardless of whether it’s a democrat or republican held up to public shame.

It’s ridiculous how small-minded people get whenever sex is involved.

Your mistress steering you millions of public dollars during pillow talk is no big deal? Banging each other on taxpayer and business credit card funded trips is no big deal? Claiming she reimbursed him with sacks of cash for every trip and he omitted those expenses from his tax returns? Come on. These are not serious or ethical people. They are power drunk dunces busted red handed.

If I pay for tickets for a trip and it costs $5,000 and the person going on a trip with me repays me the $2,500 for their portion in cash, one or both of us have to claim that on our taxes? Is that what you’re saying? I’m not an accountant, but I haven’t received a gift or earned money.

Nobody carries around thousands of dollars in cash. Give me a break. And nobody as corrupt and stupid as these nitwits is going back through their credit card “BUSINESS” expenses during tax season and subtracts the “cash” their mistress gave them.

I know several people who do and they have legitimate businesses. You are the nitwit.

Legitimate businesses and mistresses? Do they carry their thousands of dollars in cash in duffel bags or backpacks?

Where do you get this "duffel bags and backpacks full of cash" bullshit? There is absolutely ZERO in introduced evidence or testimony to support this. Did she have a few k in cash at her home? Sure. And it was probably less than $10k based on the testimony she gave. And so what? Since when is that some kind of crime? I could name a dozen or more people who probably have more than that in their till or wallet at any given time, whether contractors going to buy materials or restauranteurs et cetera and those numbers will easily scale out to the millions nationally. If it's some kind of big crime then why aren't we focusing on the commercials to buy gold bullion that come on conservative talk radio literally every 5 minutes? And if you don't know what I'm talking about here then maybe you need to step away from this conversation completely because you are definitely and unequivocably clueless on the subject.

She’s broke as a joke and can’t pay her bills. Tax liens. But yeah, sure, she keeps 10 to 15 grand — “Gs” — on her at all times to pay off bedfellows. Oh and she can’t even prove when she withdrew the alleged cash from the bank. lol

What the judge should do (but probably won't) is to put a hold on this hearing and force Fani to provide evidence that she has withdrawn significant amounts of cash over a period of time to prove she repaid her lover in cash.
Should be easy to do - if she is telling the truth.

Stop mischaracterizing her testimony. She never said she’s “withdrawn significant amounts of cash.” She said she gets cash every time she goes to Publix.

lol. These are allegedly serious attorneys, not dope dealers. Nobody keeps that sort of cash on them. The woman was broke as a joke with $40K in tax liens. They’re both shameless pathological liars. She was apparently so dickmatized she let it destroy her career and credibility.

People with different experiences than you most certainly do.

You understand that this is all a side show to the Trump election fraud case, right? Willis is not a defendant and the "prosecution" for this matter has not provided one shred of evidence of wrongdoing, conflict or anything else. It is THEIR burden, not hers.

Exactly. And this case does not make Trump any less guilty or culpable than he is. The facts against him, including the famous recorded phone conversation where he asked for 11,000 votes, are what they are. Nothing they do to Fani Willis will detract from the facts in Trump's case and from the very serious trouble he is in GA. (Reminder that a president can't pardon state charges, only federal).

She needs to provide the proof.

If she gets it $40-100 at a time, then it is pretty easy to build up, as her testimony claimed.

And now, she doesn't need to provide the proof. The burden is on the other side. You aren't getting this. The case is about Trump stealing an election. This is all a sideshow. Stop falling for it. If you keep going down for these lies, you will believe that someone paid Joe Biden $5M for Burisma or something or other.

Right now, this hearing is about whether Fani and her lover have committed wrongdoing that should cause the judge to withdraw one or both from this case.
So, yes, it is about her. And, she should need to provide proof of her claims. But, she probably won't be required to do so.

I honestly do not understand how this was allowed to be inserted into the election case. If there were concerns about fraud related to their roles as attorneys, including her being a DA and his providing legal services to the DA's office, then fine, pursue an investigation of the DA's office, have the state bar conduct an ethics investigation. What does it possibly have to do with the criminal charges or evidence? What is Trump's argument that whatever they did related to each other impacted his due process rights?

And the burden of proof is on the defendents in the case to prove malfeasance and conflict of interest.

To date, there is not a single shred of evidence to support the claims. But...they have managed to do the Roy Cohn smear that people like you are buying into.

No, she really doesn’t. But keep on thinking she’s the defendant.

That was one of her explanations. And, we all know that the amount of money you can get in a cash back transaction is limited.

And the burden of proof is on the defendents in the case to prove malfeasance and conflict of interest.

To date, there is not a single shred of evidence to support the claims. But...they have managed to do the Roy Cohn smear that people like you are buying into.

That is total bullshit.
A witness has testified that the affair started before she hired him. THAT, my dear is evidence.
They have bank statements to show that HE paid for lavish trips and vacations with the salary he was getting from Fani. THAT, my dear is evidence.

I’m sorry but I see no connection between her ability to do an excellent job on this case and her private relationship with a member of her team.

Yeah, she was such a great witness too. So credible. Everyone’s talking about Fani’s testimony, did anybody see hers?
