What things do men do that make them seem less masculine?
Also, men please chime in. What things do women do that makes them seem less feminine. |
| I personally think the stereotypical man/woman leave much to be desired. Why feed into that? |
|
It is about the way you feel. No stereotypes.
I don't find men attractive who complain too much about food, weather, noise, ... it's a turn off. |
| Manicures, tanning... |
|
When they don't stand up for you (such a turned off in SO many ways).
Low sex drive or lack of interest in having sex with you! |
|
Fussing over clothes.
Agree with the standing up for you thing. |
| Also agree about having your back. |
| When they shout at, hurt, or intimidate women. |

Emotional weakness - i once dumped a guy who cried at a movie - he made he sick, after that i could not bear to look at him.
A man who is being "taken care of". i know that this is increasing common as one parent choose to stay home with children, but I could not deal with a "pure" house husband. A whiner, I think men should be rock solid (I am pretty rock solid myself), a man who complains and whines about every little thing is not for me. My husband has a bit of a tendency to do this last one - I try to head him off at the pass when this happens. I also use to dislike men who were emotional needy, but have come to see that as a good trait. |
Are with the tanning point - in a booth that is, but think manicure is just good hygience - so long as there is no polish application. |
Wow -- I don't agree with this one at all. I think it's a shame there is such a double standard about men expressing their emotions in this way. Crying is natural and to me, crying does not equal "emotional weakness" at all. |
Yes! Thank you. |
Wow. |
My DH and I are reading this together. He and I totally agree on this one. He also says: Someone who doesn't do what he has to do. Someone who gives in to fear. |

Men that are too skinny.
