This is the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever tasted and it is a simple recipe to boot. Happy cookie baking. My kid and hubby go bonkers when I make these! |

My FAVORITE Holiday cookies are Betty Crocker Toffee Squares. (They do not have toffee in them, but the flavor combo of brown sugar + chocolate is reminiscent of toffee.)
http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/toffee-bars/846dec40-5fd2-41d2-929a-54dc5bfbf3ca This shows them more as "bars" but I don't use the glass pan they recommend- I spread mine on a greased cookie sheet so they are thinner than these "bars" and are more like cookies. Delicious- and easy to make 5 dozen because a single cookie sheet makes probably 2 dozen alone. |
| Use slice and bake sugar cookie dough. You can slice it or roll little balls and stic different stuff in it- m&M's, nuts, choc chips, heath bar bits etc. |
| Whipped shortbread. Works great in a cookie press so it saves a ton of time but it is delicious. I decorate with sugar and sprinkles. |

| I make peanut butter cookies and put a Hershey kiss in the middle. Whipped shortbread sounds good. Would love the recipe. |
Gross. Slice and bake dough tastes like the chemicals it's made of. |
who would bring cookies made out of cookie dough from the sore. Might as well just bring a bag or oreos. |
| Those seven layer bars are always good and so easy. Make two pans and that should cover it. Also could try buckeyes, those are popular and kinda easy, just a lot of rolling and dipping and cooling. |
| Can't link but if you google "whipped shortbread" and pick one with cornstarch and confectioners sugar, those have worked the best for me. I think cooks.com has one. It's important that they not be too thick. You can do them as jam thumbprints or with cherries in the center as well as in a press. |
Thanks! |
| I can't access the recipe right now, but Google "spider cookies". Melted choc chips, butterscotch chips, and chow mein noodles. No baking. Delish and usually different than anything else there. |
You would be surprised. |
