Y’all kept saying that eight years ago, too.

The smug arrogance of these people is unbelievable.

"But...but...literally NOBODY in my social circle is voting for Youngkin. How can this race be so close??!?"

Oh, we know who is voting for Youngkin and why. It’s not a mystery. But we think it says appalling things about you as people.

Did Youngkin condemn his surrogate Amanda Chase for holding a rally that focused on the lies that the 2020 election was stolen and Democrats were stealing this one? I heard no condemnation from him. He supports these damaging lies.

Youngkin says parents should dictate what is taught on schools. What does that mean? Parents already have input in so many ways, being on advisory committees, answering surveys, working in schools, PTAs, speaking/writing to the board. Does he mean only those parents screaming at school board meetings? I do not agree with them and don’t want them deciding what the schools teach.

+100

Education policy (or any government policy for that matter) should NEVER be decided by a minority of aggrieved citizens who are more interested in making a scene than in being constructive

Many of us support Younkin in Arlington but also realize that opponents will light our flags on fire, egg our house, tear up our sign and vandalize our property. Why make a target of ourselves and our family by the party that loves diversity intersectionality, but not diversity of thought. Many of my D friends have admitted they will be voting for Younkin this round - mostly based on school issues and the teacher's union only caring about teachers.

How many F**King times do I have to hear some dumbf**k republican say that dems don’t like diversity of thought bc we tell them no, we won’t listen to their climate-change denying, horse-paste eating, racist and idiotic theories? Like no….it’s not diversity of thought to hear how dumb y’all are. No one ever said - let’s just listen to every chicken sh!t idea.

So when posters don't agree you resort to this type of response. Some of us don't agree with you that if Youngkin wins that everything is doom and gloom. Democrats have total control now and our Federal government and how is that going for us? I would love a third party option but one does not exist. Some of us are not even Republicans that you are yelling at. I voted for Biden but will not be voting for McAuliffe. Only voted for Biden because I could not stand Trump. We are not all the same no matter how much you wish that was the case.

But it will be “doom and gloom” if Yungkin wins because he is Trump on a statewide scale.

Racists will feel emboldened, women will lose control of their bodies, and funding will be cut from education to give the rich another tax break

And school districts will feel that they have to teach opposing views on slavery and the Holocaust. I was very upset at the handling of COVID this past year by FCPS. However, as a Texan, I also look to my home state and think that I may be upset with Ds this year but there's no chance in hell that I"m voting for VA to go the way of TX. I saw a ton of Youngkin signs on my walk to school this morning. Served as my reminder to get to the govt center to vote. Will be doing that today.

Exactly! Virginians: Get out and vote! We Progressives have seen so much positive change here in the past few years (a couple of examples include the elimination of the death penalty and marihuana legalization) we need to elect Terry to keep the changes coming!

It's funny to me that people don't realize that Terry and Glen are essentially the same person. Guys who have built careers and mass fortunes on other people's backs. That is why nothing ever really changes beyond the margins...elite R's and D's are the same. And then both parties of whacky fringe players that are more interested in scoring re-tweets on fringe issues than making a difference.

My right to bodily autonomy is not a “fringe issue.”

“Fringe issue”? WTF?

You must have missed what is happening in Texas right now.

Nor is mine when it comes to vaccine mandates.
Interesting that you are all about "bodily autonomy" when it comes to abortion (and happens to involve the life/death of another living thing) but are all about forced vaccination.

You don’t want your kids to get vaccinated for chicken pox or rubella before entering school?

When did I say anything about vaccine mandates?

You didn't. I did. You know.... bodily autonomy.

Go look at the bolded part and try again. You literally said I was all about bodily autonomy for abortion but also support forced vaccination. I never said I support forced vaccination.
