I'm 100% against illegal aliens and would vote for any candidate who would introduce a bill that would set into motion a way to deport all illegals. No "anchor baby" BS either. Go through the proper channels to gain citizenship. If you can't, tough shit. The US doesn't owe anyone the right to live here.

I live on the other coast: All our bums are white. Leave the Latinos alone...they work. Hard. Lazy Americans want cheap goods but aren't willing to work. |
Working hard does not negate the fact that they are actively breaking US laws. If I came and robbed your home, but worked hard at my regular 9 to 5, would you excuse my transgressions? |
I think we need to build a wall or do something to prevent more illegal immigration, but unfortunately I am in favor of some amnesty. I just don't think it's realistic to deport every illegal, and I think the best solution is to just educate the kids and hope they turn out into semi-productive residents (instead of the welfare queens we see around my neighborhood...). |
Those working and illegal are using fake SSN---paying taxes into the system that they will never retrieve. Climb off your high horse. |
i think there is a difference between undocumented persons who commit crimes and those who don't. deport the criminals, offer one time amnesty to the hard workers who contribute. and boy do they contribute. most americans don't want to take on the jobs they tackle.
also, i find it ironic for a country of immigrants to deport others whose stories resemble their ancestors. it wasn't that long ago that most of your ancestors were looked upon disparingly as well. |

How did you family get over here? Show your documentation how your family legally came to the US (unless you are native American). |
Especially Irish, Italian or AA. But that is the thing about history...those who don't study it, are stupid ![]() |
Every country has laws protecting their borders. It is long past time for America to protect her borders. If you come here illegally, you are a criminal from the start. Giving legal status to anyone who came here illegally does a disservice to everyone to obeyed our laws and entered legally. I know how the system does and doesn't work. I have a cousin who married an illegal alien who was deported back to Asia a few years ago. Call the them "undocumented workers" or what you will but that does not negate the fact that they broke our laws from the moment they first entered this country. |
Thanks all for the thinly veiled racism. Tell us, how, exactly, the presence of undocumented workers hurts your life, other than the availability of less expensive produce, construction labor, child care, housekeeping, and yard work? I sometimes hear people who have immigrated legally say they resent the illegals not having to go through all the hoops, but I doubt any of them would trade going through the hoops for the life of an illegal alien. |
7:04, get off your high horse unless you've never broken a law. |
I am for immigration of all types - legal and illegal - and believe it has an overall positive effect on our economy, our society and our world. I hope that eventually immigration controls will be eliminated and we will truly live in a world without borders. |
An illegal immigrant has never hurt me. And no, I don't count my tax dollars being spent to educate their children or pay for medical care to be hurting me. I call that being a decent human being. But then again, brown people don't scare me. |
