VEL is the same VEL it has always been. If you actually went to a field it would seem exactly like it did when your son played. There are a few people who post here that maybe make it seem different but in reality the coaches and players still treat it as it has always been. Do not go by anything you read here. |
| VEL is very chill on the player/coach/ref side of the field. |
Highlight can be that hard to spell can it? |
+1 VEL is exactly as you recall. the only difference is one kid whose style is dirty play, trash talk, and post-game scuffling, and his Dad comes on DCUM each week to blame the opposing team and attack the posters who call out the player. |
If you are correct, and the Indy head coach is posting on here, he has some serious issues... |
VEL is chill except for this one guy who is oddly obsessed with one player and literally can't stop talking about him. |
Thanks Joe. |
thanks for proving my point |
It's a message board and there usually aren't English teachers on here? I usually shorten it when I'm on boards and not writing a thesis. No vid link? Are you the guy that spelled misread miseead, that didn't put an "I'm" in front of sorry and punctuate your sentence, or that had a period after almost every word? Tough to tell as everyone's Anonymous. C'mon, let's see it. |
| I wish Riverside would of had a team in this Black Division... Would had loved to see them play PVI. |
No you would not Riverside mom. Yes a couple of years ago they beat PVI's JV team with one Varsity player on it in a VEL game. This would not be the same. |
Your history is wrong... They have beaten PVIs JV team many times, including a regular season game in the spring. They have also beaten their varsity team in the VEL multiple years... Those are the facts. |
That was a great championship game. Schroter vs. O’Connor was a battle |
Which years? Not post Covid |
| PVI vs Pendence is a bloodbath already. Seems like Dave’s boys don’t even want to be here. 93 looks like he’s been told to keep it clean and is itching to make a dirty play. Typical Pendence. |
