A single Patriot interceptor costs $4 million. Iran has about 80,000 drones that cost about $30,000 each. The math isn't mathing favorably for the US. Drone warfare has changed everything. The fact that the US is running out of interceptors on Day 4 demonstrates once again that Trump/Rubio/Hegseth had zero plan for this war.

If you have a criminal history, shaky financial background- like multiple bankruptcies, infidelities…etc, you are deemed not trustworthy, not capable of making good decisions and susceptible to blackmail and coercion. From a GS5 (very junior federal position) to a SES (executive level), everyone has to have an extensive background check. It’s scary that this standard isn’t applied to the President- the most powerful position in our country and maybe the world.

And if you extrapolate from there, the current President has a FAR shadier background than any of the above-mentioned workers being vetted.

Wonder how many days until we’re out of interceptors. It seems like the large majority of Iranian drones and missiles have been taken down so far. What starts happening when almost all of them get through?

Canada needs to tread lightly with this Trump Administration. Trump has said he wants Canada and he will take it or buy it. Canada does not have nukes. Notice that Trump only bullies and use his force against smaller, non-nuclear countries. Think about the countries that he has not bothered or said nay an awful word against. They are N. Korea, Russia, India, Pakistan, and Israel. Maybe it is time for Canada to think about acquiring their own nukes. You know, for deterrent purposes only.

This is anecdotal, but my Jewish friends in my neighborhood in Chevy Chase that are overwhelmingly members of the Democratic Party are all very happy with the US bombing Iran. They keep invoking the Holocaust. Again, this is anecdotal, but I don’t think this desire to protect Israel more than the US is just an objective of the GOP. This is why Chuck Schumer has not done anything to stop it.
