Agree. I have to say what I find Also disturbing is the amount of people on social media who are defending him like “sex preferences aren’t a crime”. He used his power to force this woman into this relationship and she felt like she could never get out. It was a huge imbalance of power. Then he blackmailed her to keep doing it.

But that’s not the part he’s on trial for this is just setting the scene for the kind of individual he is. He’s on trial for the sex trafficking of the prostitutes.

The sex trafficking is definitely a crime. Hiring prostitutes, giving them transportation, is sex trafficking.

Yes, that’s what is said above, the sex trafficking is a crime. But he’s not on trial for coercing Cassie into having sex with them. He’s on trial for the actual sex trafficking. People online are excusing him for his sexual preferences from wanting to watch Cassie have sex with other men. Two different topics.

I was responding to the poster who said they didn't understand whether what he was doing is illegal. It is illegal. So at a minimum, he should be found guilty of sex trafficking. He is also a disgusting individual and so is every single person who enabled him. And as a society, we need to really ask ourselves why fame, money and power are so intoxicating that we would even consider associating with (much less date) a person like Combs, Weinstein, Epstein, etc. Cassie herself testified she thought Combs would help her music career. And then she found herself in so deep, well, you know the rest. Not victim shaming, just so sad that this happened to her and countless other women and men.

He had six kids but knew well enough to not have a child with a not so bright Cassie who was willing to prostitute herself for him and do degrading acts. He never did this to his exes. He spoke so highly of his kids’ mothers and of J Lo. Cassie -he treated like complete trash and a concubine/sex slave
This is hilarious, yall just be typing anything. He treated Kim Porter like shyt! He was cheating on her the entire time. A year after their first kid was born he left her to be with J. Lo. For the 2 years that he was with J. Lo he had Kim in court battling over child support. When him and J. Lo were over he got back with Kim. 5 months before their twins were born another woman gave birth to his child. Kim left him the following year. She desperately wanted to be married and Sean told her he wasn’t ready. They were never even engaged, yet he gave Cassie a huge engagement ring. That hurt Kim tremendously. Although Sean and Cassie’s relationship started in 2007, he only went public with her in 2012. And to the poster that said Cassie was like a mother figure, no she was not. Sean’ kids lived with their mothers, until Kim Porters death and the twin girls went to live with their dad. That’s the same year he and Cassie broke up. Sean and Cassie never even lived together, he always kept her at arms length. I do agree though, the children need therapy. Once Sean was arrested the twins went to live with their mothers best friend and she’s currently their main caregiver.

+100

He honestly ruined Kim porters life. She was basically never able to move on with anyone else and never got married like she wanted. When she dated Jackie Long he threatened to kill him and he dumped her. Diddy also allegedly broke Kim’s nose by punching her in the face. JLo has also talked about him constantly cheating on her while they were together. But Diddy did get with Kim when she was staying with his first baby mama Misa Hylton who he also fought about child support. He overlapped all these relationships.
I've always liked Misa Hylton but I find it disappointing she's been showing up to court. Maybe she's there to support her son, but he's a grown man; 31 years old. Chance's mother has also been showing up to court. smh

Correct, however, it's important because this will show a pattern of behavior that can strengthen the sex trafficking case against him. There are three other victims who will be testifying for the prosecution.

his defense is that it was all consensual. Other than the physical abuse, which is not part of the trial, he thinks he had done nothing illegal.

And it's why she needs to detail the level of abuse and coercion she was under and describe the whole scene in such detail. So it is clear even though she was the one contacting them and paying them it was his money and his direction.

The fact that he had her making all the contact means he knew it was illegal all along and he would be exposed legally if this ever came out. It's another level of what a diabolical piece of crap he is. Not only did he make her a sex slave, he was setting her up to take the fall if there ever was one.

According to the defense's case, she should be on trial for sex trafficking. We're all agreeing the illegal activity took place. It's just who is responsible.

I am following this case in the media and I don't feel like any of this has been well explained. I am finally getting the bigger picture reading this thread.

Him instructing Cassie to contact the prostitutes and instructing someone to pay them does not absolve him of guilty. He probably thinks it does, but it just makes him the boss. He’s guilty. Legally he is still a trafficker.

Right? Then why is he dumb enough to let this go to trial and have all this exposed. Ego?

People are trying to excuse him because he is Black, he is bisexual, and because they like his music/talent.

Hollywood and Motown want to forgive him.

Guilt. Combs is the boss, he delegated, but he’s still guilty of trafficking. Cassie acted as his agent, at his orders/instructions. His defense of her being the one that contacted prostitutes doesn’t prove he didn’t tell her to do it. She’s testified that he did tell her.

It can be consensual that prostitutes willingly travel to a job at your request and you pay them, but that still makes you a sex trafficker. Being under duress isn’t required.

They’re paying for articles that say this is all being done to “bring down a powerful black man“ because that’s what Maga wants – only white people to be powerful. However, Suge Knight just came out and said Trump will pardon Diddy if convicted.
