I hope the prosecution wouldn't be going to all this trouble if they didn't think they had a case to convict him of some type of crime. This monster of a human should not be living in society.
Also, his mother and kids sitting in the court room? What the actual F? I can't even comprehend the logic. Does he think this makes him seem human? It just makes him seem deranged he would want any of these people to hear all this.
Agree. I have to say what I find Also disturbing is the amount of people on social media who are defending him like “sex preferences aren’t a crime”. He used his power to force this woman into this relationship and she felt like she could never get out. It was a huge imbalance of power. Then he blackmailed her to keep doing it.
But that’s not the part he’s on trial for this is just setting the scene for the kind of individual he is. He’s on trial for the sex trafficking of the prostitutes.
The sex trafficking is definitely a crime. Hiring prostitutes, giving them transportation, is sex trafficking.
Yes, that’s what is said above, the sex trafficking is a crime. But he’s not on trial for coercing Cassie into having sex with them. He’s on trial for the actual sex trafficking. People online are excusing him for his sexual preferences from wanting to watch Cassie have sex with other men. Two different topics.
I was responding to the poster who said they didn't understand whether what he was doing is illegal. It is illegal. So at a minimum, he should be found guilty of sex trafficking. He is also a disgusting individual and so is every single person who enabled him. And as a society, we need to really ask ourselves why fame, money and power are so intoxicating that we would even consider associating with (much less date) a person like Combs, Weinstein, Epstein, etc. Cassie herself testified she thought Combs would help her music career. And then she found herself in so deep, well, you know the rest. Not victim shaming, just so sad that this happened to her and countless other women and men.
