I don’t follow your “logic”. This trial is not about what she she sued/settled for. What she settled for is not a federal crime like this trial. She’s testifying about other crimes he committed.

NDS are not enforceable against a governmental investigation. In other words, the NDA would prohibit her from giving interviews, writing a book, etc., but would not prevent her from participating in an investigation or testifying in a trial.

Sean Combs’s arrogance greatly exceeded his intelligence. When he settled with Cassie, he never imagined there would be a criminal investigation. He thought he was above reproach. Serves him right!

Here is general info about the jury. Racial makeup isn't disclosed.

The jurors range in age from 30 to 74, with an average age of 52, and come from across the Southern District of New York, including five jurors from Manhattan, three from the Bronx and four from Westchester. Eight of the jurors are men, and four are women.

Each juror has some kind of college degree – including two master's degrees and one PhD. The jurors work in a diverse array of fields, with an architect and scientist sitting alongside a deli clerk and massage therapist.

She desperately wanted to be married and Sean told her he wasn’t ready. They were never even engaged, yet he gave Cassie a huge engagement ring. That hurt Kim tremendously. Although Sean and Cassie’s relationship started in 2007, he only went public with her in 2012. And to the poster that said Cassie was like a mother figure, no she was not. Sean’ kids lived with their mothers, until Kim Porters death and the twin girls went to live with their dad. That’s the same year he and Cassie broke up. Sean and Cassie never even lived together, he always kept her at arms length. I do agree though, the children need therapy. Once Sean was arrested the twins went to live with their mothers best friend and she’s currently their main caregiver.

The defense wants to get jurors that they think would sympathize with Combs. As a Black woman I hope he burns in hell, but it is true, having Black people on that juror is a good thing for them. This is a judicial system that has been proven to be unfair, especially to Black men, and we all know this and we tend not to trust or believe police or the judicial system. Do you remember all the celebrating that happened after OJ was found not guilty? It wasn’t white folks celebrating. I’m only posting this to explain why the defense would hope to have black jurors, not because i personally sympathize with Diddy. I also did not sympathize or celebrate when OJ got off. My friend is a defense lawyer and she said picking jurors is like a delicate dance and one of the most important parts of the process.

He honestly ruined Kim porters life. She was basically never able to move on with anyone else and never got married like she wanted. When she dated Jackie Long he threatened to kill him and he dumped her. Diddy also allegedly broke Kim’s nose by punching her in the face. JLo has also talked about him constantly cheating on her while they were together. But Diddy did get with Kim when she was staying with his first baby mama Misa Hylton who he also fought about child support. He overlapped all these relationships.

Not a surprise, but the testimony today is even more disturbing than yesterday. He was threatening to release videos of her doing freak offs to other people she dated and to her mother. Keeping her in line. At one point, she texted him that she was in bad shape with UTIs and sores in her mouth. The prosecutor asked what the sores were from in her mouth and she said From the friction from all the oral sex she had to perform.

Agree. I have to say what I find Also disturbing is the amount of people on social media who are defending him like “sex preferences aren’t a crime”. He used his power to force this woman into this relationship and she felt like she could never get out. It was a huge imbalance of power. Then he blackmailed her to keep doing it.

But that’s not the part he’s on trial for this is just setting the scene for the kind of individual he is. He’s on trial for the sex trafficking of the prostitutes.

The sex trafficking is definitely a crime. Hiring prostitutes, giving them transportation, is sex trafficking.
