Their whole season is tainted by multiple scandals. Even if they win the whole thing, its tainted, meaningless and will always have that "cheater" asterisk.

To you and no 9ne cares what you are whiners on here think, Nancy

To everyone. VHSL is the arbiter of cheating and they said they cheated. No question about it. The whole season is tainted and any win is illegitimate.

Who cares? They are officially labeled as Cheaters who shouldn't be stepping on the field.

Ppl talked about FCPS and $$$ used to get to this point, hell may as well go all in across the board

Teams were told 3 hours before game time that they are not playing. “Sorry every other team, but Hayfield just got here so we have to wait for them.”

No it’s "sorry every other team, but some white supremacists running the VHSL” wanted to violate the rights of the kids at Hayfield and the issue had to be sorted out in a courtroom.

Always playing the race card. It’s getting real old man. This isn’t sorted. There was no final ruling. Try again.

White supremacy is getting old. This racist behavior has gone on for far too long and needs to cease immediately. Its disappointed that the VHSL attempted to interfere with Hayfields season because of the skin color of the coach and majority of the players. It’s just disgusting and they need to fire and replace every over there.

Through the courts, the people of Virginia have spoken and Hayfield is playing. Move on, appreciate the effort of Virginia high school football over the next few weeks, and may the best teams win championships.

By all means if Hayfield advances (and they should) go ahead and bring your hoods (I mean) picket signs and encourage more parents and kids to do the same. Let’s see how far that gets you

People can say whatever they want but this man must be very damn good at what he does, because if he isn’t the leader they say he is, then WHY are so many wanting to be around him. It’s not his fault for being good at what he does.

I’m sure VHSL will get up to speed on the coaching madness, but unfortunately football now and across other states as we see it is a business. How much money do you think Hayfield loses out on by NOT being in post season. It sets the school up for alot of other things as well as football going forward. Now all this controversy is going to have ALOT of people paying money at the gate just to see who they are.

Is it possible for VHSL to kick out a county from their association? For FCPS to be told, you’re out? Because it’s now clear that FCPS doesn’t want to play by VHSL rules or follow it’s decisions, so isn’t natural result that FCPS should no longer be eligible (all schools) to participate in the VHSL events — so no more runs at state, etc.?

Fairfax probably accounts for at least 40% of VHSL participation amongst all sports. VHSL wouldn’t last 2 years without FCPS. Just as VHSL can probably remove FCPS, Virginia schools can remove VHSL.

The reality is VHSL needs to focus there effort on updating their rule book to be less ambiguous and dated.

Texas, Florida, Alabama and Louisiana (and probably more) has a rule in their rule book stating, if any coach on a particular sport staff gets a HC job at another member school, no athlete on the previous roster can participate for a year on the HC new school staff. No exceptions or exemptions. Black and White.

Instead VHSL wants to keep rules such as prolysterizing and ‘spirit of the game’ so that they can pick and chose when to enforce and who to apply it to.

Wow, blindly defending cheating. How pitiful. Also, it is "proselytizing." Learn how to spell.

They deserved to be in the playoffs more than Hayfield.

Yeah, the big issue in VHSL is coaches running non-school teams and using them as recruiting vehicles for their high school team.

Because she has!! When people are upset about not getting their way. They will slander anything.

Look how folks have slandered and called Coach Overton everything but coach.??that man made a decision to leave and people want to blame him for other people wanting to follow. As been stated, parents are free to move how they see fit. And not one thing says Overton himself violated, so yes very true people will slander your name for what they feel will benefit them

Slander? Where did you get your JD from? Maybe sit this one out.

Came here to say this. There are 6 sealed injunctions with no party and a couple under the board of supervisors. But my money is on rumor at this point because it's so shoot-yourself-in-the-foot.

I’m hoping a reliable source that covers prep sports like Fox 5’s Chad Ricardo or the Post’s Michael Errigo will dig into this today.

You think Errigo is a reliable source? Guy dodged this subject for the past 10 months.

Not quite. He was basically complicit in the coverup.

They don’t have a coach who cheats and is a favored minority. Robinson can go to hell as far as FCPS is concerned.

Damned “favored minorities!” 🙄

(Sarcasm, in case that wasn’t apparent.)

Since you apparently wish to play the race card just go ahead and say it,

BLACK

?? Did you not see the racist post that I was responding to? Did you see that I wrote sarcasm?

Feebly grasping at straws. When you have no legs to stand on you have to pivot to the race card.
