+1 can’t get blood from a stone. And the way he acted was HIGHLY annoying and inappropriate but in the end it doesn’t seem like any laws were broken, so no consequences through the judicial system either. Meh. |
Very wise of him to leverage crowd sourcing this way. |
Why is Monique Judge so obsessed. Is she MAGA? |
Racist assumption. |
It's an obvious fact. A person going places in life doesn't stoop to ridiculous antics. |
This entire issue is political. What are you talking about? With that said, it is true that progressive ideologies are doing real harm to women, especially white women. |
Do we need to state the obvious for you? The people spewing the term Karen at every opportunity are MAGAs, Incels, and some POC women. While a Venn diagram might show some overlap between these groups and political affiliations, that's not what's driving this. What's driving it is misogyny and racism. |
Sure. Because progressives took away choice. |
This is fantastic, though I do think he probably missed the boat by a few days -- a lot of people appear to have deleted tweets at this point. But I would love if this case actually addressed the question of social media bullying/defamation. There could be implication, for instance, for teenagers who get harassed by peers online. It feels like for some time the attitude has simply been "oh well people can say whatever they want about you online, try not to make yourself a target," but what if this case forced social media platforms and users to face consequences for spreading lies and defamatory statements online. This PA is far from the first person to experience serious reputational destruction because a few bad actors spread a lie and a bunch of unthinking users spread it as truth. |
If you wanted to help the PA, you could report that twitter account to Twitter and Elon Musk |
Yes a hundred times. We seem to be tolerating defamation on the internet. I still think the main culprit, the videographer, needs to be sued. Btw no one has proven the men were teenagers or minors. |
DP It’s been reported to Comrie’s lawyer, which IMO is WAAAAAAY better. |
Unless we learn that the videographer was the one to post it to social media, I don't know if I agree. I think it's weird that we can't seem to find "patient zero" in terms of how this video got online, especially with the narrative that the woman was "stealing" the guys bike. If it turns out that the young men in the video, including the one taking the video, were not involved with posting it online, I don't think they should be sued because they haven't participated in accusing the PA of a crime or accusing her of racism. Yes, the videographer is the one who first accused her of "fake crying" and I do think his actions were bullying and uncalled for. But if that was all he did, I don't think that merits a lawsuit. It's tantamount to calling someone a mean name or making fun of them during an argument, and that's not great but it's not worth suing over. I think this is a case of social media "racial justice" accounts running a grift, where they look for ideas like this that they can exploit to drive clicks and follows, somehow getting their hands on this video and using it for their own designs. It's people like @Imposter_edit, @thatdaneshguy, and similar, trying to profit by defaming a stranger online. |
If it can be proven the videographer edited the video in a defamatory way, can he be sued? They'd have to raid his house and take his laptop/phone, though, and that's probably not worth anybody's time. |
This poster “lost” and is incapable of accepting it. She’s pathetic, and yes it’s evident it’s a she who needs to malign white women. |
