Nah he's watching the PA get rich off this and he's sitting home with nothing. He's never had anything and never will.

+1 can’t get blood from a stone. And the way he acted was HIGHLY annoying and inappropriate but in the end it doesn’t seem like any laws were broken, so no consequences through the judicial system either. Meh.

I created this account so individuals can tag me as to defamatory statements/videos made against Ms. Comrie. I'm looking for comments labeling Ms. Comrie a: 1) Karen; 2) racist; and/or 3) thief. Also, videos referencing a third party doing the foreging is also actionable.”

Monique judge has already been tagged.

Very wise of him to leverage crowd sourcing this way.

They are struggling with their own internal misogyny.

They aren’t. They don’t see it as misogyny. Pointing it out changes nothing.

I suppose that is true. Typically progressives deny misogyny on the left exists.

and there it is...

There's always one that has to drag everything back to politics.

God forbid there's ever a discussion where politics isn't mentioned, rest assured the trolls like pp will pathetically insert it in.

+1, complete with lies about the entire Dem leadership calling all white women Karen or something. Sick of that poster, who is probably also the dog whistle poster .

+1 Everything is about politics for them. Have you seen Twitter? Do you know who are obsessed with this case? MAGA crazy people, they are using it to justify their racism. Rational people can understand and acknowledge what happened here without this level of obsession.

Why is Monique Judge so obsessed. Is she MAGA?

Racist assumption.

It's an obvious fact. A person going places in life doesn't stoop to ridiculous antics.

This entire issue is political. What are you talking about? With that said, it is true that progressive ideologies are doing real harm to women, especially white women.

True, but this is what the Democrats get for tolerating racially toxic language. Which they have been doing for a long time.

Do we need to state the obvious for you? The people spewing the term Karen at every opportunity are MAGAs, Incels, and some POC women.

While a Venn diagram might show some overlap between these groups and political affiliations, that's not what's driving this. What's driving it is misogyny and racism.

Sure. Because progressives took away choice.

This is fantastic, though I do think he probably missed the boat by a few days -- a lot of people appear to have deleted tweets at this point.

But I would love if this case actually addressed the question of social media bullying/defamation. There could be implication, for instance, for teenagers who get harassed by peers online. It feels like for some time the attitude has simply been "oh well people can say whatever they want about you online, try not to make yourself a target," but what if this case forced social media platforms and users to face consequences for spreading lies and defamatory statements online. This PA is far from the first person to experience serious reputational destruction because a few bad actors spread a lie and a bunch of unthinking users spread it as truth.

She’s basically saying “Yeah I meant exactly what I wrote factually when I called her a racist thief! It was fact, not my opinion.”

She is staring down bankruptcy now, and totally deserves it.

If you wanted to help the PA, you could report that twitter account to Twitter and Elon Musk

Yes a hundred times. We seem to be tolerating defamation on the internet. I still think the main culprit, the videographer, needs to be sued. Btw no one has proven the men were teenagers or minors.

Unless we learn that the videographer was the one to post it to social media, I don't know if I agree. I think it's weird that we can't seem to find "patient zero" in terms of how this video got online, especially with the narrative that the woman was "stealing" the guys bike.

If it turns out that the young men in the video, including the one taking the video, were not involved with posting it online, I don't think they should be sued because they haven't participated in accusing the PA of a crime or accusing her of racism. Yes, the videographer is the one who first accused her of "fake crying" and I do think his actions were bullying and uncalled for. But if that was all he did, I don't think that merits a lawsuit. It's tantamount to calling someone a mean name or making fun of them during an argument, and that's not great but it's not worth suing over.

I think this is a case of social media "racial justice" accounts running a grift, where they look for ideas like this that they can exploit to drive clicks and follows, somehow getting their hands on this video and using it for their own designs. It's people like @Imposter_edit, @thatdaneshguy, and similar, trying to profit by defaming a stranger online.

If it can be proven the videographer edited the video in a defamatory way, can he be sued? They'd have to raid his house and take his laptop/phone, though, and that's probably not worth anybody's time.

Maybe they sent it to one friend or posted it on one of their social media pages with 10 followers. Maybe they hashtagged it Karen and one of the many sites that troll for viral videos came across it.

The account that posted the video and started the spin about what happened is https://twitter.com/Imposter_Edits. He is still posting about it but has changed his tune.

The young men are likely in hiding as well. Like on here I am sure there are many others desperate to identify them and drag them into similar hate filled online mobs that went after the women. Their lives would be in danger if they were to be identified and the woman involved has said via her lawyer she does not want them going through what she is going through.

I visited that guy’s Twitter and this is what he posted:

“It turns out City Bike allows you to rent a bike by entering a serial number directly into the app. I went through the entire process myself and the only thing stopping me from renting that same bike was geolocation. Anyone in the NY area could produce a canceled receipt for that exact bike from their couch without leaving home.”

So is that admitting he was wrong? As someone who has never rented one of these bikes, I'm confused by the whole thing.

I was a poster who really believed she was in the wrong after watching the video. Her behavior did not seem to match anything I've seen from victims or experienced as a victim myself. Obviously I was wrong.

There weren't really any victims in this. There was a misunderstanding that led to a very minor confrontation as both parties felt they were in the right. She was tired and fed up and wanted to go home and some of that came out. The boys were being rude and she realized she just needed to let it go and get on a differnet bike and go home.

Her lawyer is very professional and not a drama / lime light / dramatizing type. He is an employment lawyer, not a celebrity lawyer. There is no reason to not believe her account (told via her lawyer).

The woman who was out umnered, harassed, and had her fetus threatened, and was humiliated on video on Intermet, who was stalked and scared away from her own home, and was sent away from her job, is certainly a victim. I hope she wins a huge payout. And social media sites need to pay for spreading this stuff recklessly.

Uh... what? umnered?

I'm on her side, but let's be real -- her fetus wasn't threatened.
It's s exaggerations like that which made people not believe her at first, because she seemed overly dramatic and entitled.

I hope she stays far away from the "threatening her fetus" claim, as I don't see that working in her favor at all -- especially after watching her odd performance in that video.

DP. You’re clearly not on her side if you keep insisting a pregnant woman coming off a 12-hour shift, who has just had her bike physically shoved back into the dock while she was sitting on it, and who is surrounded by four guys heckling her and calling her fetus the r* word, isn’t allowed to cry or call for help.

Your continued criticism of her normal behavior show you’re still trying to justify calling her Karen earlier in the thread.

This poster “lost” and is incapable of accepting it. She’s pathetic, and yes it’s evident it’s a she who needs to malign white women.
