Arlington GA.... Listening to the the other parents, I don’t think we will see a mass exodus this year, but 2-3 will bail for sure including one stand-out player... The outsiders on the team will continue to stay outsiders on the team even if they’ve been present for 2-3 years.

Mo has the personality of a hotel ironing board and seems socially retarded. I don’t see the social dynamics changing on the team when the leader of the team is pretty much socially autistic.

Jeff Cup this weekend will be the tipping point if the girls lose in spectacular fashion. I foresee Mo completely losing his sh*t and spitting out his pacifier lol. If the girls get smashed this weekend!!!

There is a mean girl clique. It happens on a lot of travel clubs. So it is nothing unique to Arlington or travel soccer but it is there.

It's not a mean girl clique. 2/3 of these girls have played together since they were 5 and probably 1/3 of them go to the same private school. They are just very good friends. And they want to stay together as a team.

That is the exact recipe for a clique. A majority of the team having been together for 3-4 years with a subset of them going to the same private school. New kids never quite feel welcomed or included and the non-private school kids are still not quite on the in crowd.

It is amazing that you can write the above and not see how it could be a bit clicky.

Just wait until a new player that had enough of these girls and b!tch slaps them.

The players who were added in the last 2-3 years are the best players. The pandemic, coach parent drama and DA collapse froze that roster. There is a big difference between the u littles vs u14 and up. How serious is Arlington about GA? Will they change out players who have shown they do not belong on the roster? Who knows but attacking the coach/youth director usually makes change happen.
