Can someone help me, is it only available in certain areas? I cannot find it on Netflix or prime?

It’s a NYT program and the Britney doc is an episode of it. It’s on Hulu https://www.nytimes.com/article/framing-britney-spears.html

Is she still capable? By the looks of it, no. She doesn’t headline anymore. She hasn’t performed for about 3 years. Her own son said she will probably never sing or perform again.

That stinks. I saw her at the MGM a few years ago, and she was clearly lipsynching but was absolutely great. I would totally go again.
She can headline anywhere. She left Vegas on her own. She sold out every night. It sounds like a headliner to me

It’s “in other words,” not “another words.”

NP. Do you have any idea how easily typos occur especially doing talk to text? Stop policing typos (especially when they’re not actual grammatical errors). It makes you look really lame. And nobody cares.

+1
These kinds of "corrections" make the person posting them look really ridiculous.

To the PP asking I found it on YouTube pretty easily.

Many other stars — Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez etc— have bipolar. No one’s treating them this way....as if they are incapacitated. Now maybe her case is much worse. I just can’t find any information. This just doesn’t make sense to me.

Agree. SO many highly successful recording artists have bipolar... It's much more prevalent there than in the general population. I'd add Mariah Carey, Bebe Rexha, Halsey, Kanye, many more.

I am an everyday DC area successful professional with bipolar, and have friends with it too. I am mystified as to the reason for the 13 year conservatorship.

Me too — I’m bipolar and going about my business in DC. My highs are very productive. I have slip-ups and go off-track but no one is taking over my life. But I’m not worth 60+ million so no one cares what I do, or if I’m erratic. You feel vulnerable when you get this diagnosis. She probably had more severe symptoms than I do but I think those who are controlling her are also taking advantage.

She also was being taken advantage by a fake manager named Sam Lufti. I think her conservator should be an independent attorney but Brittney was in no position to make decisions for herself at the time a conservator was needed. There was no one around her to help her that was truly trustworthy, which left her an easy victim. Her full medical history hasn’t ever been released but bits and pieces have been including a hospitalization not so long ago to regulate her again.

This all just makes me so mad the more I think about it

We don't have anything close to her full medical history.

She was treated horribly by the media and by misogynist scumbags like Matt Lauer.

Bipolar disorder can have features of schizophrenia. It can be mild, or it can be bad.

Some forms of severe mental illness first manifest strongly in the late teens and early 20s.

I wonder if we’ll ever hear about her mental health history.

Why should we? Can she have some privacy?

Anonymous wrote:I just watched last night. There is no reason that her father should be the conservator. He was not even significantly in her life, he is making hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, and then he petitioned for more money. Really? Why?

It’s not right. She doesn’t want him to be the conservator anymore. Why should he be? The whole thing made me sick.

She was mistreated from a young age, grew up way too fast, overly sexualized… The baby one more time video at 16 years old. I feel sorry for her and it is no wonder that she has mental issues. I really hope she gets the treatment she needs.

Just watched this and ITA with all of this. She even said from the outset that she didn’t want the conservator to be her dad. Why was it her dad? And not her mom? And yes, why couldn’t it be a professional? But mostly this doc felt incomplete. It skipped over the 48-hour Vegas marriage, which was one of the big signs that something was wrong as I recall. There was bad stuff that happened with the kids that they didn’t mention. There seemed to be big pieces missing about her mother, barely mentioned her sister and focused weirdly on hangers on. And it ended without any answers! I love a good doc but this just left me with an “OK? And...?” feeling. And also that her fans who were out in the street for her were weird.
