What is your take on the Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt divorce saga? What happened on the plane?

All the kids are "his", in that three are biological and the three adopted children were adopted by him as well as her.

No. Angelina adopted Maddox when she was with Billy Bob. She adopted Zaharia during the beginning stages of her romance with Brad (the adoption process probably started before the romance did). She then had Shiloh. She and Brad adopted that other boy (what is his name? Why can’t I think of it?). Then she became pregnant with the twins.

How old are you? I feel like this is common knowledge if you were paying attention 16-17 years ago.

Brad later adopted the other ones though. All of the kids are his through adoption or biology.

No way Brad didn’t do anything at all. While there is a parental alienation piece, I don’t think Maddox, who has been off living in South Korea for college for a year, would still be so heavy under Angelina’s influence that he would come back just to testify against him. Also Brad has admitted to having had substance abuse issues during their marriage which was obviously crumbling and stressful. That seems like a recipe for disaster.

That said Angelina going through so many lawyers seems like a red flag that she has unrealistic expectations on money and custody. Seems like she wants all the money and full custody.

When they're finally settled and happy in their schools, she'd give no thought to dragging them away to start over in Europe or Asia. Why can't she be content to drag them all over on school holidays, allow them some normalcy for a change?

I would imagine security is one big ticket item for them. They have many assets they could sell, I don't feel sorry for them. Obviously they have more than enough $$ than they could ever need if they decided to live a lower key life out of the spotlight.

+1. This is so entitled. Just live a quiet life and don't seek out the media. The media will get bored with these celebrities if they stop begging for attention, and then they won't need to pay a fortune for security. Surely she could scrounge together $15M and still have a much more upscale life than most people could ever hope for?

She just scrounged up $11 million selling the painting Brad got her.

So she's dragging her children through a very long, public, bitter divorce over either more tens of millions or unrealistic custody expectations.

I find it interesting that people always assume it’s Angelina or her lawyers that leak info about their divorce to the press. The articles are almost uniformly unflattering to Angelina and seem to always quote some Brad ‘insider’ with his side of the story. I think Brad is one trying to manipulate the press.

Why would he leak any of this to the press? The more it drags on the worse it is for him. I think she's trying to tank his career because he won't give up joint custody.

Oh, I would also say that might be credible because he was apparently the world's best father for about 10 years and then it flipped and he was an out of control user. Seems like some projection happening. She was fine with the use for years and years and then it was a major issue? I don't buy that.
