+2. So sick of boycotts and cancel culture I automatically do the opposite now. It’s absolutely disgusting what this country has become.

+1. This is why I only buy things made in China. I'm so sick of Americans using the power of the purse to try to boycott China. It is disgusting.

Did you feel the same when Trump told his followers to boycott Harley Davidson?

So much for your fickle support of "Made in America." The point of that boycott was to bring motorcycle manufacturing BACK TO THE US. Harley planned to move some of its production overseas. Once again, you people seem to have missed the memo that Trump advocated Made in America well before Biden jumped on the bandwagon. -DP

+2. Me too. I also only hire illegal immigrants to do home repairs because so many people tell me I shouldn't do that.

x1000 I also constantly encourage people to sign up for Obamacare because there's so much desire to cancel it. Disgusting.

Way to miss the point.

The point is, you said boycotts are bad and automatically do the opposite. So logically you should have bought a Harley even if you don't ride a motorcycle.

Their products are more expensive than other brands. Not Latinx myself, but we purchase and eat a fair amount of Goya products. We will now avoid.

Please also avoid the gringo term “Latinx.” We still have our balls

Latina women have balls? Or you’re just so insecure that you can’t stand not having a tiny little letter ‘o’?

I buy Goya products. I won’t anymore. Donald Trump is a traitor, and I don’t have to give my money to company headed by a fool who thinks he should be praised. Unlike moron Republicans, however, I will consume the Goya beans I have on the shelf. Weren’t you morons just trashing your Keurig machines a few years ago?

you need to add your Goya pinto beans to that word salad.

There is now a "buycot" on Goya products from coast to coast. But the American public is doing the opposite and from coast to coast, New York to California, Goya products are flying off shelves as consumers who have not previously purchased Goya products are doing so now in support of the CEO and President Trump.

That's okay. When people cut up their Nike shirts, I bought one on sale.

If you knew anything about Goya products you would know they are the most expensive option on the shelves.

You're talking to different people, FYI. I never said boycotts were "bad," but I do agree with the PP who said they were sick of them. I also never said I automatically do the opposite of the boycott, but if a boycott is for a particularly stupid reason (like the Goya boycott), I might very well do the opposite.

Anyway, it seems you have missed the point by a mile.

Because they're the highest quality on the shelves. Duh. Adding Goya products to my grocery list for tomorrow.

Nope. The original PP said they were sick of boycotts and they always did the opposite. If that wasn't you, then that PP should still buy a motorcycle. And if you are sick of stupid boycotts, then you definitely shouldn't vote for Trump because he surely has better ways of keeping manufacturing here than boycotts.

The ONE THING I actually liked about Trump and most hoped he would do was really spend a lot money to build back American manufacturing. Though I did not vote for him, it did win him some votes. Now I think those voters are going to Biden because Biden picked up the idea.

Are you saying that Hispanic immigrants cannot afford Goya products?

Their hot sauce is darn good. Don’t care what their CEO says. He’s a CEO. They are mostly out of touch and bit sociopathic to begin with. It’s how they got to where they are. He says he likes Trump. Not the end of the world folks and their food is good and they donat a lot to charity. Now, Old El Paso and Ortega ... there’s some evil hombres.

The fight with Harley Davidson was 100% Trump made. He got into an egotistical trade war, and f’d American manufacturers, then tried to blame Harley for making a financial decision about bikes sold in Europe. The whole thing was never about what was made in America. That’s such BS. Trump started that to soothe his own ego. If that’s not cancel culture, I don’t know what is.
