So how far is the DMV from Phase 1 opening?

DH thinks June 1.

The governor can’t run crap. I’m outta here come June.

It's not "the media" that is saying this. It's the models, which are a best guess.

Pretty sure the models have md and dc past peak.

Confirmed, Imhe model says md peak was April 18.

My DMV Hospital is predicting a peak at the end of May, with our hospital census not returning to normal until the end of July. So far our actual number of cases is following the model the hospital keeps sending staff via email.

Thank you!

How long have we been hearing 'we are almost at the peak!!!"

Don’t forget the part that we’re always a week behind Italy. a week behind New York...

I really like the charts that Cuomo has b/c it helps to show the "curve."

Anything like this for DMV?

I have seen the 91-DIVOC charts -- but those are by state and don't show hospitalizations.

This one is easy to look at.

Huh. That doesn't really look like we've peaked necessarily. Maybe MD has, but DC and VA don't seem to be. It kind of looks like we're plateau'd a bit.

I think Hogan will open around May 15th. He’s got the tests he wanted, the hospitals have capacity and he has located additional temp space, etc. . .

Baltimore and PG are hot spots. Don't get your hopes too high.

Unless I misread, the federal guidance said even in Phase 1 opening you would still keep schools closed. So let's assume we're at peak and we're going to see stable or dropping infection/death numbers for another 2 weeks, we would still only be opening in Phase 1 May 15. Not schools.
