You think you may be infected? No, don’t send your kids to school.

How can I know? The symptoms are just like a cold.

The symptoms are not just like a cold. Typical symptoms include high fever and a dry cough. My colds have neither of those things.

You can have a fever and dry cough with a cold, and fever doesn’t need to be high for coronavirus.

Why would your dr want to test you? What would be the risk factors? Otherwise I call troll.

Living with somebody who went to a conference in an infected area (Bay Area) and then got a respiratory illness, immunosuppressed, worsening cough with blood, low fever. But can we just answer the question? Am I nuts for keeping my kids home?

NP. We’ve decided that if one of us shows a fever, that will be our indication to self-quarantine. So if you have a fever, I’d keep the kids home. At worst you would be overreacting to a cold.

Okay that’s true. Better safe than sorry I guess. I’ll keep them home. Thanks.

You all stay home! Why is this so hard for people to understand. Stop waiting to be told what to do and make smart choices.

Sorry. I asked the doctor and he said “blah blah blah maybe talk to your school health people on Monday.” I would kinda feel like an idiot for calling because it seems so overkill.

Why did the news conference change that decision?

I don’t know if it did. Yesterday he said I should get tested if my fever went another day, today he just said “checked out” and talked a lot about vital signs. He said to go to the urgent care today but before I left I realize my fever is lower than I thought (it’s 99, not 100 which is what it was when I spoke with my doctor), and the urgent care just sucks and I bet they’ll be like “why did you come here for a fever of 99?”, soI will just call the doctor back tomorrow. I’m really not worried about myself, I was just wondering about my kids.

Any one know about this church’s services? Is this a church where the rector would shake hands with every congregant? Bc that’s a lot of contact.
