Elites are elites. You all need to study up on Machiavellian divide and conquer techniques. |
Okay! Thanks! |
| Forget about rats and how many Orkin says there are in Baltimore. Trump said human beings would not want to live there. He's basically calling all Baltimore residents subhuman. Think about that. The president of America is calling Americans subhuman. All because of a congressman who yelled at the head of CBP. |
^Exactly this. |
https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1991-09-18-1991261007-story.html This article is from 1991. People who wanted to live there, tried. These people could afford to get out. So, no, humans should not have to live in these conditions. You are the one calling them "subhuman." Do you really think the people want to live in these circumstances? I wouldn't. Do you think because the people are AA that they don't care about rats? I call that racist. Look at the videos that were on tv today and tell me you think it is acceptable. And, yes, it is in Cummings' district. (Some of his district is great--but not the part in Baltimore.) |
I can find horrible places in all cities and horrible places in rural America. Yet people still live in those places. |
You actually think the poor people in Baltimore don’t want better for themselves and their families? You think they like living in trashed neighborhoods, with murders occurring almost everyday, and drugs rampant? They’d take a clean and safe neighbor in a section for their families. |
| Neighborhood/second |
| And, Victor Blackwell, the CNN host who claimed Trump was calling the people "rats," did grow up in Baltimore. I don't know where he lived, but the high school he attended is well out of the area that is being discussed. Maybe he lived in that area, but he didn't go to high school there. |
| Every stupid tweet like this that Rumpus sends out represents another few days no one is talking about his supposedly fantastic economy. He’s not a very smart politician. Mostly because he’s so undisciplined. Hee hee. |
But, the tweet was correct. It is the spin on it that is not. It is rat infested. I've seen them. You really should take a field trip. It's pretty awful. |
So you think that the chairman of the House’s committee on oversight needs to get his neighborhood in order before he can do his constitutionally required duty of interviewing top cabinet officials? Huh. Did anyone ever say that to any other congressman overseeing any other administration? It sounds a lot like “go back where you came from” before you exert your authority over my precious CBP and Ivanka’s emails. |
All big cities - especially the older ones on the East Coast - have rats. Even apparently Washington. Even apparently on the grounds of the White House. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/rats-are-everywhere-in-dc-even-on-the-white-house-lawn/2018/12/18/b730dd5c-0228-11e9-9122-82e98f91ee6f_story.html?utm_term=.bfe061ea455b The President said Baltimore was not fit for humans. Those of us who aren't blindly in love Trump know exactly what he was saying. |
| Trump is certifiably suffering from altzheimers or just crazy. |
Hun I’ve seen rats even in the swankiest of cities. Paris is overrun with them. I’ve seen them there. It’s awful. I’ve seen rats all over New York. You should take a field trip. —someone who regularly goes to Baltimore to take advantage of its world class art museums and medical facilities. |
