Great! She’s vulnerable and he joins a strong group of Democratic challengers.

are you in iowa? I am - and the field is pathetic. I like kim graham but lets be honest - i've met all three candidates and they are milquetoast. joni unfortunately will destroy them all.

hope the rear admiral is better.

DSCC already has already thrown their weight behind Greenfield though.

Joni Ernst is having a lot of trouble with her messy personal life (divorce/allegations of adultery) and people in Iowa being fed up with her lockstep Trump support. No one in Iowa really cares who the DSCC endorses, and if a candidate gains momentum, the DSCC will fall in line.

Republican Sen. Johnny Isakson of Georgia to resign from the Senate at the end of 2019: https://twitter.com/rollcall/status/1166723406215221248?s=21

That’s not the seat that’s already up for grabs next year - it’s the other one.

Now GA will have two seats for voters to support.

Yup, one for two years and one for six. Stacey Abrams has already said that she isn’t running for either.

Mark Kelly is polling better than Martha McSally in Arizona. Could Arizona soon have 2 Democratic Senators?

Joe Manchin has been flirting with running for Governor but announced today he will decline and remain in the Senate.

The likelihood is that the Democrats will lose Alabama. I am going to assume they'll win the Presidency. That means Dems need to pick up 4 Republican seats (and hold the rest of their seats) to control the Senate. Colorado, Arizona, and Maine seem like very possible pickups for the Democrats. I have a hard time seeing them getting the 4th. Could be the Georgia seats or the North Carolina seat, I guess.

In states where there won't be Russian manipulation, the democrats look poised for a big year. Not sure if it will be enough though.

There's plenty of manipulation even without the Russians. Registration requirements that are more arduous than they need to be. Polling times that are difficult for the working class. Polling locations that cater to the affluent.
