He's a stupid trust fund kid who can't keep a job. She probably can't touch his money which comes from the parents, but yes scammed him as well. Oddly I don't see anything remarkable about her or her appearance. Must be quite a talker... |
| People of color have been sentenced to jail, based on hearsay. This white lady gets to stretch this out for so long |
Reminds me of the pedophile Ghislaine Maxwell who also married while on the run. But she's been in prison for a year now and was just convicted on her charges as well. Guess what? The young wealthy trust fund guy has already moved on. Don't know why either of these men chose these two women but as soon as their convictions were in they were gone. She started a company as a college sophomore based on science and engineering that was beyond her (and it turns out anyone's) understanding. Do you think she gets that funding if she's 45 pounds heavier? |
Probably has something to do with transfer of assets to an innocent spouse. |
Why not transfer it to a sibling or a parent? The King of Spain tried to transfer $100 million in illegal gains to his mistress and now he's suing her because she kept it. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/former-king-juan-carlos-of-spain-his-ex-mistress-and-a-scandal-txnlfvvrj |
| Was she placed in custody prior to sentencing? Any chance she skips out with baby? |
She's a white collar criminal, of course not. She may even stay out pending appeal. I wonder if she can get pregnant again to push things off further |
| I encourage folks to watch the documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley which is a companion of sorts to WSJ reporter John Carreyrou‘s book about the rise and fall of Theranos. His reporting is what blew the lid off Holmes’s fraud and got her investigated and charged. The documentary is very revealing. I believe Holmes was at one point an idealistic true believer, but at some point she turned to outright fraud in her dealings with investors and business partners. And yes, like fraudsters throughout history she used her powerful personality and a mythos she created about herself to woo and bamboozle investors and many others, and many of her hoodwinked targets were men. She was definitely working it. I’m sure she’s going to get special favors from the male guards at Club Fed, too. |
10b-5 claim! Material misstatements (and fraud!). |

Money doesn't buy you everything. Sad that these billionaires seemingly have everything, but they get greedy or have this unfulfilled hole that makes them turn to criminal means to fill a void they feel they have. Billionaire criminals are a paradox. |
To be fair, if she hadn't committed the fraud, she never would she been a billionaire. |
But with Bernie it was a whole lot of people who found their life savings wiped out. There actually were some patients who came close to suffering very serious medical consequences due to her deception, but only close, and it was large investors who lost money. FWIW, I never understood how the whole "one drop of blood from a finger stick" thing was so appealing. Personally, I prefer a needle in my inner elbow to a finger stick--the nerves are less sensitive. And once you have a vein. it's just a matter of attaching one vial after another. Now if she had claimed to find a pain free guaranteed way of delivering IV medications, I'd take notice (haven't had to do that often, but I am approaching old age and sooner or later. . . . ). |

Her deep voice sounds fake and I find it disturbing.
Im curious is she is a narcissist or sociopath? I really don’t understand why this man would want to be with a pathological liar. Do you think he believes she is innocent ? |
