It’s not the age of consent in NY.

In NY, you must be 18 to consent to a relationship with someone who is more than two years older than you. So, a 17 year old can date a 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 year old. I don’t know what math you all do to think 38 is within that range. You must be from a state that lets adult men marry 12 year olds.

It is disgusting. We bitch all the time about unwed teenage mothers but the sick joke is most of the fathers of these babies are over 21. Many over 25. And a scary number in their 30s and and above. It’s child abuse.

I was also her age and thought it was gross and weird. But I have a niece who does the same thing (although not smart enough to get the guy to pay for college!) so I think there are people like this on every decade.
