Well he did get blowback from dating Shoshanna and seemed to get it out of his system. Jessica was willing to dump her newlywed husband for Jerry and this seemed reasonable to him too. She's odd herself, so maybe his ideal pairing was with someone else looking out for #1??

Shoshana and Jessica are probably only 4 or 5 years apart in age, but he met Jessica much later. I think they all live in NYC. Wonder if they all run into eachother or if the kids went to school together.
