She keeps beating women candidates. You should run. What position do you hold now to know she's in over her head?

At least she made her own way to this position, as opposed to using the political career of her husband as a springboard to launch her own successful political career

Someones salty lol

Right, because as we all know, only people who LIVE in Winchester are allowed to rent billboards there.

I mean, there's NO chance that someone living in DC or NY.... or Hungary.... could ever buy a billboard in Winchester. Nah. Not in a million years.

I wish the DNC had something better to do than keep reactivating this old thread.

quite a few people lining up for her seat.

I like Wexton. Met her a couple months ago. I think she will be a good challenger.

Lindsey Davis Stover is also running - saw her in a piece on Democratic women running this morning. Quite a resume.

Lots of good alternatives to Comstock.

State Sen. Jennifer Wexton will announce Thursday she is seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge Rep. Barbara Comstock (R) in a northern Virginia district that President Donald Trump lost last year. Many Democrats consider Wexton, a former prosecutor from Loudoun County, the strongest candidate in a field of hopefuls who would stand out in a typical year.
She is the fourth Democrat to declare her intentions. Also running are Daniel Helmer, an Army veteran, Lindsey Davis Stover, a former Obama administration official, and Kimberly Adams, past president of the Fairfax teacher’s union. Several others are considering jumping in, including Dorothy McAuliffe, the wife of Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

Yes - Stephanie Ruehl ran it on MSNBC this morning.

She's still MIA on the latest AHCA/ACA repeal despite the fact that she came out "against" the last version and this version is worse than the last one.

It's so transparent that she is waiting for leadership to tell her what her position is on stripping health insurance from millions, ending protections for people with preexisting conditions and medicaid as we know it, all so tax cuts can be given to millionaires.

Does she really think this Hamlet act will convince anyone that she's willing to stand up to Trump and the Freedom caucus?

I read on Twitter that she said her opinion hadnt changed.

The only suggestion I have for Democrats is to NOT run a woman against her. Running a woman looks forced. Don't be afraid to run a man. I seriously think that would take her down. Run another woman and she will probably survive.

+1. Exactly. She mowed down Luann Bennett. Notwithstanding the DNC's attempt here to libel Comstock (and its repeated attempts to resurrect this old thread), Barbara is extremely popular in the 10th district. She works hard for her constituents. I doubt any contender the DNC sends in will be able to upset her seat. The townhall argument has been used across the U.S. and is tiresome. Of course the Republican candidates won't show up because an appearance gives the left an opportunity to protest which leads to bad photo-ops. Smart republicans have turned to more savvy tech. ways to reach the constituents . . . but the Dems keep yelling that all Repub. candidates are not doing their duty by failing to show up at town halls. The Dems can put up microphones and pretend that Barbara and others are a "no-show" but smart constituents know she either wasn't invited to begin with or has something better to do with her time to represent the district. I think everyone knows this now. Resurrecting threads like this just looks like sour grapes to me.
