I think this is partly a socioeconomic status thing. I've seen some Asian women that are not necessarily aging that well, just like every other race. Asians, on average, have highest level of income and education in the country, but this varies. "Asian" is a broad term.

Those who are offsprings of recent immigrants can be, but not those who are multi-generational. A lot of is cultural. In any case, this has nothing to do with "beauty" or how one ages.

btw, many older asian women wore and still wear hats when they go out, regardless of SES. My mom is like this. She has barely a MS education in her native country, but she has *always* worn hats when she goes outside. She is in her mid 70s and still has amazing skin. Me... not so much.. to much surf and ski, and convertible in my youth = not aging as well as my mom.

I think it's *awesome* to see an attractive man with a not-so-attractive woman who has give him kids. This tells me that the man really loves his wife for who she is, and not just for what she looks like; that he won't abandon her because she has some issues. I would hope my DH is the same if this kind of thing should ever happen to me, though DH is not hot attractive

I know what you mean. Pregnancy hits some women really hard and they never lose the baby weight. Then middle age sets in and they end up gaining even more :/

My SIL is outright ugly. Strangely, I think DH is decent looking. But that very same face doesn't work for a woman so well

Anyway, she's been married to a fairly attractive dude for years. He is a dick. He is annoying as shit. I don't think even she would marry him if they were not as young and dumb at the time!

Ditto. Seen more wrinkly Asian women than black women. Black women age extremely well due to their darker skin and high cheekbones.

This is usually the case. It's sad, an ugly man with a decent amount of money can attract a beautiful woman. However, when the situation is reversed, it's usually because the man is gay or the woman has lots of money. Men are visual and many of them look elsewhere when their wives let themselves go.

In reality, a man either has character or he doesn't. If he lacks character he'll sneak around and have women on the side and then blame it on his wife at home. Think of all of the cheating done in Hollywood....

Even Jennifer Aniston got cheated on.
