Let's be clear she's more Coach Calipari than Coach K. Its all about her, her ego and and showing people she can win. That type of Coach will eventually burn out...piss off the wrong parent, player or Administrator. Visi is and always will be bigger than any Coach at some point the conflict of the money she makes from coaching outside of Visi will play a role in her demise. You can't run a High School travel team and be an unbiased Coach at a High School. Its either money or respect you can't play both sides. I believe the administration will see the conflict and take the proper action.

Eh. One game doesn’t make them the best. Saints are tied for best with Visi since the two teams match-ups are 1-1 for the season. And Visi still won the regular ISL season.

Does Visitation recruit talent from local girls’ lax clubs and if so, when does it start? Thx.

There is no formal recruiting for lacrosse where a candidate is sponsored by the team in the admissions process.

Girls need to get into Visi based on their middle school grades, test scores, teacher recommendations and extra curricular activities.

I was just curious if Visitation does recruiting of any kind for lacrosse (ie, do they know who the talented girls are in advance due to reaching out to clubs or by other means)? Or, do they just wait to assess talent at tryouts?

The pipeline of future talent is well known because many girls play for top club teams and the sub-set that targets Visi for high school is relatively small.

Agreed. It's known among the parents which kids are going or looking at which privates. Most parents have likely already reached out to the schools they are interested in to get their kids in the pipeline. It's more the parents reaching out to the schools vs. the schools reaching out in most cases. Unless your daughter is an all-star.

Capital doesn't start until 9th grade. Girls will not have made capital when commit to a private school

It is hard to analyze recruiting trends and practices with coaching turnover. They have a new coach this year and multiple others in recent years.
