Are we allowed to say "Islamic terrorists"?

Daesh incorporates the Arabic words for Islamic and State so not sure if it achieves the intended purposes.

I like ISIS because it ironically uses the name of an Egyptian goddess. The U.S. government preference for using ISIL, which lacks the irony, eludes me.

After all, none of the Muslims leaders and organization stepped forward condamning what happened in Paris, while others trying so hard to convince everyone around that it has nothing to do with Islam.

Huh? What are you basing this on? Several Muslim nations and organizations released statements. Sorry their actions don't confirm your hateful world view.

Yes, they did.

This is going back a few pages but, it's true, some of the atheists on DCUM are quite combative here on DCUM. I can only imagine how hostile they might be face to face with a religious Muslim.

Here's an article written in Islamic Horizons magazine about the 3 Muslims murdered by an atheist, page 35:

I don't understand the point you're trying to make here about atheists. Atheists kill based on their lack of religious beliefs? I'd also like to know which posts you found "combative." There were multiple bible quotes offered because of the side conversation related to the suggestion to alter the Quran to make it less violent.

Interesting video from Australia about how Islamophobes and ISIS are essentially on the same side:

When a white police officer killed an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, white racism in law enforcement was blamed, the police officer who killed the teenager was labeled a racist, and a federal civil rights investigation was launched. We were not reminded by Progressives that most police officers are good people and it would be unfair to make assumptions about Officer Darren Wilson before the facts were known. We were not reminded that "it's just the few bad cops who are giving a bad name to the good ones."

Your version of history leaves a lot to be desired, but let's accept it for the sake of argument. Do you believe that progressives were correct and therefore acting the same way towards Muslims is also correct? Or, do you believe that progressives were wrong and therefore it would be wrong to act similarly toward Muslims? Or, do you really not have a point other than you hate both progressives and Muslims?

There aren't atheist terrorist groups who murder people based on the nonexistent doctrines of atheism.

+1. Also, ISIS is catchier than ISIL, and definitely Daesh.

+100

Atheism is not a religion, a belief system, or an ideology. It does not have commandments, requirements or tests of faith, it does not have holy books, scriptures or churches or organization. All it is, is people who do not ascribe to the theory of there being an invisible omniscient creator being in the sky.

And yet it was enough to provoke Hicks to murder 3 innocent Muslims at Chapel Hill.
