I'm sorry I don't know how to link the article but it's from Moco show.

She was found to be incompetent to stand trial nine times. I wonder what will be different this time.

The kids would be 13 and 15 now.

She’s been malingering and I hope there’s documented proof of that now so she can stand trial.

The woman is mentally ill. I find it appalling how little sympathy people have for her. It's the fault of the family who were supposed to make sure the kids were not left alone with her. If this had happened today, her DH and her parents would be held accountable. I findi it sickening that her DH wants her in jail. She is insane. How is that her fault?

I agree with you.

This did not have to be.
The father and her parents are completely complicit here.

Two things can be true at once.

Her father was responsible for her that day, and he let her be alone with the children. He and only he is responsible and should be charged.

The husband was at work and the father and only the father was responsible for her during this time.

AND she killed them. And while she should not have been alone with them, she was not insane. She was mentally ill. She knew what she was doing, and she could’ve stopped herself. She stopped herself from doing it in front of her father so she’s not completely insane.

It was planned she did two kids separately. This was not a fit of rage or a psychosis.

She needs to be charged and her father needs to be charged.

It’s been a long time since I read the original news articles about what happened but IIRC her parents shared some of the blame as well.

They should have never left her home with the kids and honestly, she should have been living in a facility from the things that I was told. CPS should have been involved through the time she had the kids as well so there was documentation of the kids’ conditions (cleanliness, attention, meeting milestones). Sarah and Jacob were failed by the same awful system that failed those three beautiful girls who were killed by their father and the 9yo girl in NY killed by her father. So much sadness in this world and it does not have to be. Instead of worrying about wars that aren’t ours and people that do not belong here, we need to invest in worrying about Americans who are struggling and the mentally ill that live amongst us.

Thanks.

This is a good warning to all: if you know any really weird parents, please say something before it’s too late! You could be saving the life of a child or children.

What would this accomplish? Exactly nothing.

Completely different. Clancy tried to get help and was on 13 antipsychotics. The hospital should have never released her. She didn't tried to hide the kids, didn't lie, and tried to commit suicide for herself. Still terrible. She was in post partum psychosis.

This post took a weird and disturbed turn. I can worry about the mentally ill in America, neglected children and also worry about people suffering in wars abroad and people that came here because of awful situations in their own country. It’s sad that your love and care are apparently limited and you need to class people into those you “don’t belong here” and “wars that aren’t ours.”

No. I support PP. seriously. Have you seen all these runaway and missing kids lately and all these murders? People in America are obviously suffering really bad. Mental healhh the is a huge concern and it does not seem to be taking a front row seat like it should. Education and supportive services for families are dismal. No. We need to take care of Americans first. We need to stop all the craziness! Put our mask on first before we help others.

The crazy is you. I will never understand or be ok with this point of view. You are not better than anyone else. You dont deserve to be helped any more than anyone else.

You are talking to someone who doesn’t understand that human endeavor is not a zero sum game, and who cannot calculate future harm or benefits for her descendants caused by pulling back from longterm diplomacy and global goodwill, in trade and aid. They have learned nothing from their history classes and don’t bother to understand the delicate geopolitical and economic forces underpinning the status quo they inhabit.

Essentially you are trying to explain chess to someone who can only understand candyland.

It’s a weird feeling being confronted by such a human, isn’t it?

Her family failed as well as her being mentally ill.

BS Republicans just passed a bill to not help Americans!

Missouri Republicans wont feed children
Nor will most red states.

Instead they want girls to marry at age 10 that is not taking care of people at home.

Republican are anti helping Americans

You would think that simply by existing in this world as a human, he/she would understand that they are not better than someone who happened to be born a few hundred miles down the road. Didn't even need history lessons for that.

Stuart Adams, the Republican President of the Utah Senate, just intervened to loosen the age of consent laws after an adult was charged with having sex with a 13-year-old child.
The adult is a relative of Adams.

This ladies and gentlemen is how Republicans help children

A psychotic break, something set her off, she went crazy!
She killed, she jumps out of the window! Her children are dead, she is paralyzed.
Insane!
